I'm proud of myself. Got a number from a cute Honduran girl at work who speaks little English. After making small talk in Spanish for about a week, generally with greetings and questions asking where she is from, etc Yesterday, prior to getting her number, I finally found the courage to ask, "Podemos practicar ingles y español juntos?" For some reason I find it easier to talk to Spanish-speaking girls with my limited Spanish than talking to American girls with my fluent English. No se.

@@chaneld152 Hey Chanel I started with the method devised by Michelle Thomas. That helped with building the basics. Thereafter, I did (and I'm still doing) most of the work especially through reading. Reading helps with building my vocabulary.

This is totally for me. I started learning Spanish about one month ago and I already picked up some vocabs. Lucky that I found this video last night and started practicing. With this series, I think I can make simple sentences and switch those vocabs insides these patterns. I am determined to really learn Spanish. I’ll probably never speak it completely fluently like I can with my native language of English but I want to be able to comfortably converse with people. After getting back to America from my first trip to Europe, I almost feel embarrassed with how common it is for people there to speak 2-3 different languages while we complain anytime someone here dares to not speak English. I really like this video in particular!

Well... i'm from Denmark. This is hard for me 🤣 In school we learn (danish ofc) english then german. I'd rather they replaced german with spanish, since WAY more people speak spanish and german is relevent in.... yeah germany... Suggestion: lets hear the hole thing in spanish in the end :)
