People are so incredibly rude. I was just on your Por vs Para video and saw a comment about how you were "getting fat and need to take care of yourself." I honestly had no words. People make these comments as if you're not a person or that somehow your videos aren't as good if you aren't as "aesthetically pleasing." That you NEED to be pretty for /them/. No. The only thing that we need for you to do is help us learn and it doesn't matter how you look for us to be able to do that. Even then, you have this channel because you want to. The people telling you that you need to lose weight should be grateful that you even do this for free. I know that I am. (Don't even get me started on the fact that you aren't even fat... Ugh.) Thank you so much for your tutorials, Ana. I enjoy every single one.

I assume that a negative comment can only be from an extremely plastic, young female who is also desperately and hopelessly failing in her Spanish class.

I absolutely adore your intelligent, funny and experiential manner of teaching me espanol. I am 63, and believe negative comments from young people today are from the ability to posture any old way against any one or any thing. You, Ana, have changed my life here in Mexico, coming up on my 1 year anniversary. I was giving up learning until I found you. You make me so happy, feeling upbeat, and your cultural references honestly described are priceless to me. BRAVA, Miss Ana. Please never change! You in my opinion are the very best teacher I have ever met. No exaggeration.

So generally: -Muy + adjetivo -Mucho/a/os/as + noun -Verb + mucho At the examples ''En Alaska hace mucho frio'' and ''Tengo mucha sed'' the words frio and sed are nouns right?I remember in German there are similar expressions that go like ''I have (a) hunger/thirst'' and in Greek also.

Well to be fair, Muy can also be used as an adverb. Like in the example "Beto corre muy rápido." "Rápido" modifies the verb "Corre", so it's an adverb. "Muy" describe the adverb "Rápido", which makes it an adverb as well.

Hola Ana. Muchas gracias por las clases. I've learned a lot thanks to you. My first language is English and second language is German. This would make my third Spanish. I know you skip the grammar in a lot of videos, but because of my knowledge of grammar it would give me a more comprehensive understanding of the Spanish language if I knew the grammar behind this. In your examples on the bored you have the sentence, "Tengo mucha sed." Do we use mucha, because sed is a noun? In German it would be, "Ich habe vielen Durst." or in English: "I have much thirst." In German all nouns are capitalized. This makes it a lot easier to learn the grammar when written out. In another example you have on the bored it seems to me you have an adjective, "En Alaska hace mucho frio." However, this could be translated as: "In Alaska, they have much frost." It would make sense to me if frio is a noun in Spanish. In a third example you wrote: "Beto corre mucho." In this sentence this only noun is Beto. In English one would say, "a lot" which is a noun. So are frio and sed nouns? Did you make up these exceptions just to make it seems easier to us English speakers? My thought is that frio can be a noun, adverb or adjective. Is this correct? When does one use the accent mark? Many thanks again for the classes and for any responses. Any corrections are appreciated.

Kashif Jamal Hola, no se si entiendes bien el español, pero esas palabras que tu escribiste son del mismo verbo, el verbo “decir", lo que pasa es que se ha modificado por la conjugación de verbos(presente, pretérito, futuro, condicional). él “Dice" -Presente él “Dijo" -Pretérito Perfecto Simple tú “Dile" -Presente(en este caso es del Modo Imperativo, osea, una orden) Espero entiendas y si es asi te ayude con tu dilema.
