I decided that I want to become fluent in Spanish earlier this year and this channel has been a great help towards that goal. I really appreciate that there are so many resources like this available online. I'm 37 years old and I took Spanish for a little bit in high school and college, which was a long time ago. It was very difficult to learn and retain any of that information then because studying primarily through textbooks didn't fit my language learning style at all. My vocabulary and understanding of the language today is light years ahead of what it was back then. I still have a long way to go, but I'm truly enjoying this journey, which makes it easy to stay motivated. If any of you have found these videos as helpful as I have, I encourage you to donate in whatever way you see fit to show your support. These videos are great tools and the instructor continues to update the page. Hopefully, she continues to do this for a long time. Unrelated Side Note: I finished watching La Reina Del Sur and Ingobernable on Netflix and loved them both. If anyone can recommend any other fun Spanish language shows like that, let me know haha. This is perfect. What a brilliant class as these are things we do every day. Watering the plants and lawn I do that a lot. It's great to know how to say all of these household chores. Muy bien fantistico. Another word in English for rug or a piece of carpet is mat. You might wipe your feet on a mat before you enter a house.

Ana, your countenance & enthusiasm for teaching Spanish makes watching your videos so much more enjoyable. This makes re-watching your lessons easier, thank you. When I'm not eating from amazing antojitos (thank you for your 'Learn to Order Food in Spanish' lesson by the way), I buy groceries from a bodega to cook at home. As a suggestion for a video you could do one on how to read food packaging in Spanish, ie: Grasas (Fats), Azúcares (Sugars), Proteínas (Proteins), Hecho en México (Made in Mexico) etc.
