Just started following this channel today. first day, so far so good! In my twenties I lived in Taiwan for a couple of years and saw so many “older people” doing this in the park every morning and thought it looked beutiful but also odd. Now I’m 60 and the idea of of learning to move so gracefully (and keep moving) so so appealing. I’m looking forward to the next 99 days!

Omg thank you so much! I learned tai chi years ago in my 20’s and fell out of practice. I’m now 49 and want to get back into it and found this series online. What a wonderful refresher. I look forward to doing all 100 days!

Thank you, sir. A decade or so ago, I bought one of your DVDs and began learning at home. I practiced for awhile, but drifted away from the art unfortunately. Now, after discovering this series, I have recommitted with a fresh start and renewed dedication. Thank you, David-Dorian, you really are a great teacher.

A few years ago I started the practice of meditation. In college, I took an Intro to Tai Chi & Chi Quiong. I really enjoyed learning some of the movements. Fast forward over ten years later. I now live in MSP and have wanted to practice and really master Tai Chi. It is, however, very costly to take classes. As a single mother, I just haven't been able to afford the classes. I purchased DVD's and illustrated book to try and learn the art but have failed again and again. There has been a silent switch within my soul; my heart has been broken and my free spirit squelched over the last 12 months. The sociopolitical climate is stiffling. I awoke on January 1st and I experienced a deep calming resolution, that seemingly chose me; this is the year I start, in sincerity, and with great intentionality to learn Tai Chi. A modest search on You Tube search brought me to your channel. I am going to start with The 100 days of Tai Chi! What a fabulous way to start my New Year. Thank you, Sir, for being so generous with your time and being willling to share your knowledge and passion with the world. It. Makes. A. Lasting. Difference. Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for your generosity ! I practiced yang taï chi years and years ago, I left and regretted to. It's not so easy to start again without a teacher or following the complete series on KZbin. Even if some are absolutely wonderful. Your idea of 100 days is just amazing and marvellous. I'm so grateful to find your clear explanations in order to be able to start again. I've just promised to myself I will follow you. From 1 to 100 ! Promise ! And today is the first day. You're a good teacher. And definitely a generous man. Thank you.

I've started the 100 days a couple of weeks ago, and now I am back from day 13 to day 1, as I've realized that I need not just to get to know a new movement every day, but also to connect it to the previous movements and train them altogether. Looking forward to become more free and fluid in the Tai chi! Thank you David!

Well done. I used to be well fit, but between work and school, I’ve let my fitness slide. So now working from home on the governor’s “stay home” orders, I started looking for something I can do to get back into shape. I may have to spend more than one day on each until I can keep up, but I’m definitely going to be here each day. Thank you for giving these lessons to us.

I struggled to follow other instructional videos as they zipped through the steps too quickly, but the way you break down the feet and hand movements separately and actually specified left or right makes a massive difference. Excellent! I love the level of detail. I have already learned some good stuff I hadn’t picked up from learning this form before. I especially like the way you showed the moves from front and back. I agree with the previous comment, that a video of the entire form, or at least reasonably sized sections of it, would be very helpful as we go along.

This is the 12th time I attended the Day 1 class. Ok, I learn slowly, although with each viewing there is yet another nugget of information that I missed bc I was focused on something else. It is truly learning in layers. David's teaching quality and information density is high enough that multiple attendance yields yet another point/tip that the student can employ and improve on. It is amazing fun, he is always talking directly to every student. I have quietly nudged forward through to day 11, so I know things are coming. Breath control for example, I cheated and asked a friend who teaches Tai Chi about it. I my case it is hard to leave the house for very long to attend a live school. David is a great alternative.

i found this site on accident. i was looking for info on meditation and curious about the tailbone tuck idea and the flaws and david had a good video complementing the bad of tucking tailbones by showing how to drop a tailbone. i came her not looking to do tai chi but now im into tai chi now. :D - i read a little bit about tai chi and i think ill be fine using yang style, because i heard you probably shouldnt do yang style only if your ill or injured for this style has some dark energy in the body that it must call to.

You rock! So nice to see you online. I used to do your thai chi videos with my mom when I was a kid. We had you A.M. Chi for Beginners on VHS. I'm late to the 100 day challenge but I plan on doing it. Thank you for creating it. :)
