there are many dialects . And having a base on the kind of Tamil I introduce will help you have a strong foundation. Others one can learn on their own . But this is the major Tamil that is universal , that you will see in TV serials and soaps.

There are two words for "To Give" - தா and கொடு. Can these two be changed interchangeably or is there some rule regarding their usage ?
