thanks. just a note (perhaps someone has already mentioned) you can turn down your playback quality/resolution to be able to play the effect(s) in real time. I see you have it set to 'full'.
@ManAndDrone8 жыл бұрын
Cheers, yeah I know about that.. Problem is crappy h.264 files. A ProRES workflow is much better on playback ;)

agreed. should be able to dial back the pro res (in my experience anyway) and playback in real time.

Thanks for your thorough presentation - both your selfie footage and the screen recordings of the DJI Go screen whose distance and altitude readings I watched carefully to see how high and distant you sent your drone. My basic question: how many days or weeks of ownership before you felt confident enough to fly your rig that far away from and above you? DJI's are a pretty big $ investment. For me - after a month of ownership - I'm still wary of sending my drone high or far enough away that I can't clearly see and hear it....

This may be a dumb question, but how do you get your footage from the Phantom to be in widescreen? Mine always seems to come out as 4:3 or with small black bars on top and bottom. Trying to get true widescreen like yours for the cinematic effect. Thanks!

Great video man, I just bought a drone and i think i might try a drone selfie sometime in the future! One question about travelling with your drone... do you check it in as hold luggage or take it on the plane as hand luggage?
@ManAndDrone7 жыл бұрын
Hi Josh, it depends what you bought? I check the Inspire 2 as hold, but take batteries at 30% charge onboard in seperate Lipo or plastic sealed bags. If you have a Mavic or Phantom you should be able to squeeze it as carry-on, just make sure you check bag dimensions.

The gimbal control is the hardest part I think!
@amrinobipit7 жыл бұрын
N'th DEGREE DRONE: u don't need to control the gimbal, u just need to move up (20%~40% of stick) and back (100% of stick) then u will get the perfect dronei.

here are some tips from me to make even better dronies than showed in this video 1. use the ultimate flight app for android and use the selfie mode so that you dont have to hold the remote controll in your hand 2. before the drone starts to take the selfie by itself, stretch out your hand so that it looks on the footage, like you would take a selfie with a phone 3. Edit in premiere pro with time variable speed here you have a really amazing dronie! :D

You don't need to have the controller in hand if you do it right, otherwise it's more like a "dorkie" than a dronie to those who don't play with drones.
