Ratio is different from grind size ratio is the amount of coffee to the amount of water and grind size is the size of coffee particles 6.5 is the number of grind settings if you are using the same grinder as per the video. On a coffee grinder there number to indicate the size of coffee particles

The ratio is 1-10 an there are many factors why ratios change so you can try any ratio and see if it matches with your coffee that what helps us grow learn and experiment
