I think there's something wrong. I went to the main protostar website, and it says that by default Joomla uses it. I go to my template manager though, and it's nowhere to be found on the short list of templates.

you skipped creating tags for the articles, there's only a joomla tag that comes with the basic joomla 3.3 setup at 45:00

no no, do not directly edit CSS files. When files gets updated all your customization will disappear. That's why you've got a question from someone about child themes. In joomla you create custom files for customization.

I've created my 3 featured articles... but I'd like to rearrange them. It seems like this should be an easy thing to do. There are lots of options for how I'd like to sort them on the back end in the admin, but what about sorting them on the front in the page/site?

I figured it out... sort of. I just edited the publishing dates to lie to my self.

Hello. Enjoyed your tutorial, I think it was very through and helpful. I would like to ask you some questions: Why is it needed to categorized the articles ? I am sure there is a good reason to work that way, what is it ? At the module manager page, when I try to change the order of the modules, they will not move. I have changed into > ordering > select the ordering. Yet I cannot change their order. Near some of the modules there is a black luck icon (check in) not sure how it came to be, or how to remove it or if these issues are linked. How do I remove that black luck and rearrange the order of the modules ? Thank you, Angel
