One of my absolute most favorite yoyoers for as long as my 47yo self has been doing it. Crazy creative and inventive. I met him once at a contest. I barged right through several people he was talking to, totally interrupted their conversation, just to geek out on how awesome it was to shake his hand and meet him in person. The people who I barged past were legends in yoyoing but, I would consider Doc Pop to be a legend among legends. Like, legendary yoyoers look up to him. I was probably 40yo when I did that and have absolutely no regrets. I'm sure he doesn't remember that brief encounter but, it's a moment that will live in my memory forever.

Dod this is fantastic, while I'm familiar with a lot of these elements its a really helpful to have them laid out so well and reasons why to do them one way over another. thank you

What would the recommended string length be? Longer or shorter then what I am used to with 1A?
@DocPop10 ай бұрын
Great question! I suggest using shorter string at first because longer strings are harder to stall with (because they fill the gap up with extra string). So a shorter string will make stalls easier. For 1a I usually cut string two inches above my belly button. For 2a I usually go for 5 inches below my belly button. For counterweight Responsive I go somewhere between.

Thank you! Just got the PLTPS and am trying to get good at this new responsive 5A. Looking forward to more video tutorials. :)
