I can’t recall, I’ve seen the Budapest defence featured on this channel a lot, but have you made a historical video recapping that original game of it being played against Rubenstein at all? I know you’ve had some Rubenstein videos but as a chess amateur it’s hard to remember which game was which, all I know is I love listening to your storytelling about the games!

Love this opening man, thx for your amazing content as always. One quick question, would't it be better to play Be3 before Nf3 and after black castles we hit him with Qh5 so we are not forced "hoping" that black completely disregards our attack with Re8? This way we are both threatening m1 and attacking the bishop. If black responds with g6 we just take the bishop and if he plays f5 we play Bxf5 and black has to give away our rook. I know it's not as winning as your greek sacrifice but i found it more forcing, i wanted to know what you thougt about it

Honestly i started playing "cool hair attack" but e3 version since first video and even tho i had good wr with rubinstein it feels like i'm obliterating and demoralising them even more. To help develop it around 1900-2200 rapid when i encounter budapest they either go Bc5 like in shown game and knight goes back to kingside allowing me to attack it with pawn, or they retake imidiately but still something similar happens with that knight, once they went Bb4 instead of Bc5 and sometimes they are so confused, that they just lose their mind and hang their piece in some weird shenanigans like in Bc5 line they go Bb4 after i block like in one of the rubinstein lines, not seeing their knight is hanging. Overall they are usually completely unprepared and go where we would want them to go
