In my learning book it says the Greek verb to eat is τρωyω ! The book dates from 1988 ! Has it changed since then ? Or is there another verb to eat ? Is it about time l got a new learning book ?

Kalimera, the verb τρώγω indeed exists, and is exactly the same verb...however it is old fashined, and nearly nobody uses that form anymore, so basically you will nearly always here the verb as explained in the video. So yes, maybe it is best to buy a new learning book :-) Greetings from Greece
