Off topic: Got back from my dad-daughter trip to Japan late Thursday night. The next day, had my first skate lesson in nearly two weeks and on my second attempt, actually did a very clean program. Then I ran out of gas and started crashing left and right. Of course my evil coach got pissed and cursed about my pathetic stamina. She then advised me to reduce pre-lesson practice time. (Usually 3-4 hrs) Oh well…

3-4 hours before a lesson is a very long time!

Back from lesson. Even though coach advised me last week to take it easy with practice, I just said effit and did the usual stuff, and then got through lesson with pure guts. Unlike last week, lesson went very well…to the point that I could do my program back-to-back-to-back very cleanly. Things are looking up…
