@@cheylovesgod When going forward, your weight should be on the center of your foot. It sounds like you’re leaning forward too much. Try bending your knees more and straightening out your torso and looking ahead rather than down at the ice.

Damn that's crazy. Managed to learn it in a month so here's some tips. Make sure you can do a plow stop typa stop before u progress. Once u can do that, start on the wall or near the wall and do the plow stop but then start lifting up your back leg and landing slowly for support. After managing that try leaning back a bit when u can do it with more speed

Learn to stop slowly by turning your front foot first. You have to almost jump into it. Come up by straitening your legs while you turn sideways and then come down by bending your legs to finish. Takes force and you have to commit. I learned but practicing in front of a snow bank in case I flew forward

Na one foot hockey stop is with the wrong leg. Use the back leg and swing the front leg for dramatic effect.
