There's a much easier way to do the final part of the Sunshine trick, just do a triple jump and hover nozzle. I've been doing that method since I read it in the prima strategy guide as a kid

3:54 no joke, i played odessey the first time i did dino skip first try because i watched small ant do it very often. Havent watched further yet but this one he should get easily ^^. Also the movement system in odessey is the most fun in every mario game

I remember the first time I played sunshine I jumped out of the sewer grate next to the shine tower with yoshi and I saw Mario jump super high, so I thought that was the intended way to get to the top of the tower since with yoshi it looked like you could get up there with the sewer grate, it took me a lot of tries but I eventually got up there and that's how I accidently got to pianta village early. once I found out the rocket nossel was the intended way I was kind of proud of myself for finding another way up.

As a kid I remember trying for hours to get up there with just the hozer nozzle to see if I could. I don't think I ever figured out the last part though, I thought I did it with the turnaround jump!

See, the Pianta Village Early, even when i was very young, i figured out that all you need is a triple jump instead of Spin-Jump. It's slightly easier to pull off in that there's no fancy moves, but a lot less consistent.

So Eazy, all I do to get to Pianta Village early is a triple jump followed by hover nozzling to grab the ledge. I also just do a side flip from the higher ledge by the entrance to Corona Mountain in order to get to the shine gate. A bit of an easier way to get it, and probably a decent way for Chiz to get a fourth victory if you guys wanted to do a redemption bit for him.
