For saving some time, you can use CTRL + CLICK on the part of illustration that you want to directly select, rather than going through all the layers from the panel. Btw, nice video.

You can even select multiple layers by holding CTRL + dragging your mouse or if you want to select specific pieces all at once, just hold CTRL + SHIFT + select the parts that you wanna extract.

Well you don't actually need figma, you can use any vector graphic editor there is. And if you abolutely refuse to use one, you could just rewrite the svg code yourself. Grouping and deleting paths shouldnt be the big challenge

Cool. Never seen CSS actually animate anything before. Well, unless you consider pseudo-elements like 'hover'. May I suggest, though, that you consider turning your _from/to_ clauses into a snippet? So you don't need to keep typing them over and over.
