New skratchers watch this and learn it. It really helped me get the two click down! This is the easiest way to learn. Great teacher. Props throdown

Throdown! Best and clearest explanation for a simple move I've seen. Really good job, thank you.

Thanks man, I've been learning the 1-Click Flare, & been working on my 2-Click Flare. Ive figured out the 1-Click Flare so far, & can do them decently now, and the 2 Click Flare I gotta really do it slowly, or I'll fuk it up, but, but I like how this Original Flare technique is expalined by you, with the hand movements mimicking the fader movements!.... Thanx bro, your awesome...... 👍👌💪🙏😎🔥💯🐺.... Respex, Big Upz, & Mad Love to the Skratch DJ's........

Are you only doing the OG flare at the end or you mix shirp and flare and OG flare ?

LOL. I'm going to make a scratch tutorial for a all time classic scratch like the original transformer. But instead of doing that scratch, I'll do a boomerang instead! Because apparently scratches names don't mean anything. Even better. I'll skip scratching altogether and backspin and call that the original transformer!

This ain't the original flare, its reversed, and the OG flare doesn't have "Tears"(small pause in the middle of the sample), you should to do without this small pause. But anyway, it's a good scratch to learn.

Agreed. Other than that a well done lesson.

Graffiti flare, dj flare, breaking flare
@rollingstart_90s5 жыл бұрын
There is no tear in Flare. It's just simply moving the record forward and then backwards in same tempo. 1 click flare = you perform one click one the way forward and 1 click on the way back.
@PickpocketJones2 жыл бұрын
Isn't that a flare orbit? A single flare is a single record movement chopped by the fader, doing it on reverse record movement makes it an orbit, right?

So since this is not the original flare. What is it that has a tear? It sounds good tho.
@lindsaymaria28762 жыл бұрын
Dynamix has a beat junkies - home room tutorial where he concentrates on that scratch but doesn’t name it either. I love it and is now one of my natural ‘fall back on’ scratches.

i think that he is presise with his movement but.... he is not gentle enough, because i can see the stylus jumping around... So thats the problem with relative mode... i want to see if with a real vinyl
@argoGR8 жыл бұрын
Dont ge tme wrong i admire, but i am considering to learn it with absulute mode or with a real vinyl so my hand would learn to be gentle with the record
@jerbear69476 жыл бұрын
It does jump around for sure.
@barrywatts85014 жыл бұрын
Yeah. I'm only old school just because iv got three kids and no money lol! This I'd so hard to learn. That touch you need to get off and back on the record gently. I have problems with this. My drops I can't do fast as lifting off and back on quickly is a real mega skill. I guess it comes with years of practise.

I have never used turntables before, I use a Numark NV. I have been practicing and am much better with the fader than before but have trouble with the jog wheels at times. In your opion, should I get a turntable to pratice scratching?
@WickedWaiata7 жыл бұрын
Buy a Numark PT01 ... then if you're happy ... go to a more expensive Turntable bro! Cheap investment for a PT01 and gives you options to practice anywhere without the need for power!
