Thank you!. I really believe that if you over complicate things, people will feel overwhelmed like you said, and tend to avoid doing whatever it is. Everyday outfits can absolutely be easy.

I don’t put anything in my closet that isn’t ready to wear - clean, steamed or ironed, tailored to fit, if necessary, and in excellent condition. I just leave everything that needs attention in my laundry room until I can get to it. This keeps me organized, and I never ending up wanting to wear something, then finding that I can’t. If an item can be reworn, which is virtually anything except underwear and workout clothes, I check and air it, then hang it on a separate rack. The worst is pulling out something after a few months and finding it has a stain on it, the longer it sits, the less likely it is to come out. Some clear liquids like soft drinks, beer and wine can do this, they don’t show much until they oxidize over time, so it’s best to check everything carefully after each wearing.
