This is wonderful. I'm a beginner, again... and have been knitting some washcloths. I'm tired of the pattern and am looking for something new. This is a great way to learn a new stitch. Thanks for the clear tutorial.

Hi Jenny! Thank you so much for this tutorial! Although I’ve moved on to a different pattern since I suck at lace...I wanted to let you know how grateful I am that I watched this video. I’ve adopted your method of wrapping the yarn twice around my left index finger and wow, what a difference! My tension is better and sense of control much improved! I’m working with a very soft cotton yarn, but using my metal lace cable needles and felt I wasn’t getting correct tension with my old method of wrapping around the top of my index and middle finger. Thanks again and have a happy thanksgiving holiday. Blessings to you! Hopefully I’ll be able to give this pattern another try. I haven’t picked up my needles in close to a year and am sure that has something to do with my results. I actually found a headband I’d done a few years back using this same stitch. I’m just rusty.

For some reason, mine is not looking like this! I've made 4 attempts. Is the pattern: CO Knit 3 rows Each row after: K3, K2togTBL, YO K2togTBL, and carry on this stitch till last K3 So each row, are you are doing a YO (after the K3)?
