So I can't take my knitting needles into the courtroom but I can take pencils in with yarn, tape ( to make circular needle) Double duty activity with the colored pencils, coloring and knitting while I wait for the particular case to be up. I wonder if mechanical pencils will work better?

I didn't even think about using tape to make circulars! Brilliant! I have used mechanical pencils before and they don't catch the yarn nearly as much, especially once the clip is removed.

Dip the pencil in nail polish to avoid wood catching the yarn and color transfer from the tip. Maybe wind tape on the end to act as a stopper?

There’s this problem where after I tie the slip knot, there’s always one side that’s shorter than the other and when I try to grab it and make a chain it keeps slipping off my fingers and it’s very annoying

My mom interest me in knitting, tho I wasn't that interested until now, I have this big yarn my mom got for me that I haven't use and I just thought of trying to knit and so far I understand the first part but the second was hard since I had big string, Tysm for this tutorial I might try it in class someday if I had small string -w-

This is how it went for me: Takes 8 minutes trying to learn how to make a slick knot tangles up the string while making the first cast on Finally makes one cast on somehow undo's the first cast on while trying to make the second one tangles up the string again cries for 20 mins has a mental breakdown ends up wasting two feet of string that could actually be used by people who are good at crochet or knitting screams inside of pillow for 5 minutes cries again tries again the next day then the cycle repeats.
