I believe everything we want in life starts with connecting deeper into the present moment. Meditation daily where for the almost 4 years has completely shifted my life. As you become more aware of the unconscious thought processes that don't serve, and step out of the false created ego identity, everything in your life will naturally align to your higher purpose. Thanks Russel, much love. 🙏

So errrm - how would one get an 'unconscious thought processes ' How can you have a thought process that is unconscious ?? :D
@FrancisTrach5 жыл бұрын
@@jopar3292 Thought processes that are happening in the background that you don't realize are happening. Thoughts are always happening, but sometimes they are in the background and we don't have awareness of what we are thinking which creates a lot of anxiety / stress / worry. Interesting question, because you wouldn't know you are unconscious until you realize unconscious. You can simply be the awareness / observer of thoughts, rather then attach to them unconsciously. :) 🙏

@@FrancisTrach Good answer thanks. I agree with your points but... I would say It would be more accurate to say the 'sub' conscious but even that is kind of vague. To say the 'Unconciouss' mind is a bit like saying a square circle or dry water. It makes zero sense :) Consciousness is by its very nature . . . consciousness. Conciousness or mind is not a product of anything physical. It arises from its previous moment and unlike physical forms which by their very nature arise from a physical process and thus are subject to decay mind is does not and cannot decay. In that sense to call it unconsciousness is crazy :D but I know what you are getting it
@jopar32925 жыл бұрын
@@jamich1In terms of a 'higher purpose' I would suggest - Happiness does not come from benefiting oneself alone. Real happiness comes from appreciating that others happiness, wishes etc are as if, if not more important than our own. Of course im not saying we neglect ourselves - Essentially Im talking about a motivating mind of compassion. Its easy to banter and throw around terms such as 'higher power' but practically, day to day how we relate to others is what makes life meaningful. Maybe to relate too our innate deep down heartfelt good nature is a good higher power?

As an earnest mediator since 1979 guided by Baba Hari Dass, a revered east Indian Master, I was touched by your willingness to meditate with Deepak Chopra guiding in such a lovely, natural manner. I've listened to his Teachings for many decades, starting with a cassette recorded series! My husband and I witnessed the authentic quality of someone (you) who has embarked on this path, with all it's challenges (like trying to stay awake when the body so desperately wants to rest, for example) as sincere meditators can relate to. This is a beautiful guided meditation and so are the participants!

What is needed is all to speak up to governments that we can't have all the new (microwave) stressors anymore. We can't only meditate ourselves out of getting slowly fried. The human being is malleable and adaptive, and that is good.But when traumatized,we tend to accept FAR more harm than we should, misjudge what we should(n't) accept and take. Not any amount and kind of stress(ors) can be lived with if only we meditate.

The art of meditation is to quiet your mind by focusing on something inane like say a dripping tap or flickering candle so that you quiet your mind and ultimately release resistance. In this state one can receive an impulse through inspiration which can create a new experience of say fun/creativity/interest etc...its a lot easier to achieve than we think!

Wow guys, very impressive hate and judgment on this video in the comments and "like" and dislike. Most people here, so far, doesn't get what Deepak is talking about. Sure, he isn't perfect ( are you? ), but what he is pointing to is the Exact same thing as all liberated human beings EVER has talked about. It is the very same essence of self inquiry. Who are you, without you? The person "you", that is. The thinker, the one with problems and so on. You are not your body, you are not your mind. Most people disliking or hating on this are into westernized, corrupt, mind and fear based spirituality so far. It becomes very clear in situations like these.

Thank you, Deepak and Russell. Much respect for Deepak. I have not ever experienced meditating in my life or really known anyone who practices it. But ... I do this naturally at least once a day. I do the exact same thing except I lay flat on my stomach in a cool darker room. I notice everything in the room visuals, sounds, others, and sensations and then I notice what it feels like to be me. I take note of my being, who I am, how it feels to be me and all the sensations in my body, going from my toes to my head. Next ... I go deeper and deeper in my mind and let my mind take me wherever it wants. I let it take me until I feel like guiding my mind. I always pray, and picture all the things I love and am grateful for. I remember things. I do this naturally. I thought we all do. Being flat on the floor aligns my back and keeps my head from falling forward. I relax every particle of myself I can and we rest together in complete joy.

Hi again Russell. I sincerely thank you for what you do, for helping so many in need. Zeek Banister replied to my first thank you note to you implying that you are a nut. That made me smile and I thought of Eckhart and his teachings. If you are a nut, I’m a nut, at least we are awake sometimes..... .....and Zeek, I wish you all the best, love, peace.🙏

Two of my favorite inspirational men! Great video Russell! One note to make though, if you have Deepak back you should get a de-esser in his mic or turn down the highs...His S’s were too much to take at times. Cheers, Adam

Profound Relaxation: why meditation is rest A defining characteristic of meditative procedures is that they are practiced intermittently and over set periods of time. One practices meditation or mindfulness at certain hours during the day and for certain amounts of time, generally a half hour to an hour. The reduction of perseverative cognition (worry, rumination, distraction) through meditation gives the musculature the time to completely relax, and this state of persistent or profound relaxation elicits a state of pleasure or mild euphoria due to the concomitant and sustained elicitation of endogenous opioids (or endorphins) in the brain. The sustained increase of endogenous opioids also down regulates opioid receptors, and thus inhibits the salience or reward value of other substances (food, alcohol, drugs) that otherwise increase opioid levels, and therefore reduces cravings. Profound relaxation also mitigates our sensitivity to pain and inhibits tension. In this way, relaxation causes pleasure, enhances self-control, counteracts and inhibits stress, reduces pain, and provides for a feeling of satisfaction and equanimity that is the hallmark of the so-called meditative state. We normally do not associate relaxation with a natural high let alone deduce its benefits, and that is because we rarely have but a few minutes’ respite from the next distractive event or thought. Because it is so unusual and unexpected, it is easy to ascribe a unique meditative state to meditative procedure, an inference that is easy to demonstrate as wrong. If perseverative cognition elicits tension, then the continuous avoidance of such cognition for an hour or so will result in total relaxation and a feeling of pleasure, along with greater self-control and rationality. from ‘The Book of Rest’, at web site doctormezmer

Please fix the mic clipping! It's highly distracting, especially if you're actually trying to meditate. Not the only video that has this issue.

@Darren 'Hole-y' The 'sun' that believed he was the sun resurrected, and his 'father', raped his mum, had a wierd thing with his uncle, so he was 'bi', has a name that sounds like moses horns, like a 'bull', and was obsessed, particularly with obvious obscene obelisks, so he named his 'Bi-Bull' re-writing of other texts as 'para-bulls' and twisted 'testacles' and swore on the cover, denegrating his own mother's name, 'hole-y'. His house of horrors descendants, the house of lords, of the lord of lords, master of the uni-verse (the 1 verse being the c-horus). So, great spirit, yeah. Hero that turned the tables on the money lenders and told them 'your father is not my father' yeah. Beware of the 'lord's prayer' (amen and no ra), the hole-y trini-tree (of good and evil) and the 'fishers of men' that school us to put us in our plaice and sell-fish. They are literally a 'pain in the arse', taking after their lord by being mother (earth) frackers. The mary story fairy story is probably quite innocent though, our sis seemed like exactly that, a good woman, not a goddess (lady god diva) demanding worship, maybe. If the truth in the book resonates for you great, sod the church and the sheep stuff though surely, the dog collars are leads and the laws of the sea, written in pen with black ink magic, they pen us in. The one ring to rule them all, the O of Oh my god, he had a shepherd's crooked crook (and the silent H of oh my god, we know who that is). Mind you, Moses with horns went to some secretative sea-creature meeting in a dark cloud, became a secretary and wrote 'I am Enki's' ten commands that seem like obvious good ideas (mainly) if you're a bit of an angry person, totally unnecessary for us n-ice-sis kind kin of man-kind though. Seems more like hybrid rules for hybrids, we're the good spirits of the great spirit here, hipnotised maybe, but with our head in the air and feet on the ground, we're heaven-on-earth people, we belong here and the natural world is with us. The sooner we draw away from their nightmare-vision horror-scope horus-cope nonsense lies, reject the weapons they try to trick us into app zapping each other with, the sooner it'll be game over for these evil paedo slave masters. We're the suns of man, star spirits, we rise and shine with our spirit sol souls, just like the sun of god in the sky shines golden light. And, maybe there's a whole load of other real magic we're part of. Vedic meditation is all about taking it easy, no cry-Isis, no force, let stuff cross your mind. Seems like all the old world cultures had crosses, like celtic crosses. No idea what to make of Odin-ary, good Loki, bad Loki, or Thorsday. Vishnu -wishing for good things to cross your path my friend. Hallelujah Hare Krsna and happy Hopi hope to you. North, south, east and west, we're all blessed and all the best.

@We Own The Night Sure, we can't just put stillness in others' minds, yet our peace and joy may cross their path, cross their mind and remind them, like a bird singing, a little help, to begin again.

Meditation is better than any drug, Dr.s kept trying to medicate me But I refused. Sincerely changed my life. I found meditation when I was so stressed and grieving many losses, my inheritance, my lifes work, my family, and my home, while caring for my son with two incurable illnesses, for almost a decade now. I do not think I would have made it here seven years later without this beautiful experience. I felt almost addicted at times, meditating several times a day, or for hours on end. This is so needed, thank you thank you...

Deepak has some nutty ideas when it comes to like metaphysics and whatnot, but transcendental meditation as it’s called is a useful practice.

Idk what Deepak Chopra did or said in this meditation that proved his “scams”. Russell is just chilling in silence and hanging out with someone guiding a meditation, just sensitizing and desensitizing. Context people, context before condemnation. Russel meant for the video to help and offer a moment of reflection. What good is it to defame someone who is offering support? You don’t have to consume everything he offers in his channel, if you see something you don’t like, that is no reason to be mean and throw dirt.

😇🙏🙌I enjoyed this meditation. 🧘♀️Mostly I do healing meditations. I go to the light in the heart, and I let that healing spread to every cell, every molecule, every atom of the body, and I release every cell back to Source, (God)...allowing Source to fill the light of every cell, every molecule, every atom, every quantum particle ...and I allow the Divine One Soul, to transform my DNA back to the Divine’s DNA... and then I allow the light of God to spread out to fill the whole room, to fill the entire building or structure I am in, to fill The entire town I am in, and then the entire city, state, country, planet, universe, and finally parallel universes... into the trillions! ...and I allow myself to dissolve completely into the All of Everything. I used to do this for longer periods of time. Hours. But now I realized I am here on a mission to help others, and so, I do my best to connect, and then let go, and be accepting of my mission in this costume for this lifetime. Sometimes it works, and I am very happy to get back in the body. Other times, it is depressing to get back into the body, when you have experienced the joy and bliss of complete Oneness!! 🌌🎆 One, can grow tired of being in the body. That is when we need to look for the things that cause us Bliss, and to allow them in our lives. Because without Bliss, it feels more like torment. 🤪Thank you for this meditation and the connection! 😇🙏🌌🎆Thank you for this moment to freely share the deeply personal. Although, nothing is really personal. #WeAreAllTheDivineOneSoulInATemporaryCostume ... We Are a One Being... The I Am... #EverythingSeemsConnected!!🎆🌌😂🙌✨👍 I must say, I enjoy all of the strange parallel isms! For instance, as I listened to this, I could hear the sound of a matching dripping water, coming from an essential oil atomizer. Even your black hoodie! Out of nowhere last night, I wore my black hoodie to go from my short walk to the doors of the dance, and I was thinking how funny that my hair raised in the back, looked sort of like an ancient Egyptian elongated skull! ...and then I saw, that you had the same profile, here! 😂😂hehehe!🎊😇🙌✨#MatchingClothes 🙏... 😂😂🙌#WhatYouFocusOnMoreOfItWillMaterialize 😂🎉🌌🙌✨🔮... #ISeeWhatISee #ISeeIntoExistence #TheRealPrinciplesOfCreation #SeeItFirst 😂🌌🎆#FeelItFirst 🙌🌌🎆🔮VERY GRATEFUL, I Am!!🎊
