I can't speak for anyone else but if I do Wim Hoff's breathing, cold baths and meditation as little as twice a week, my life-long Depression and Anxiety go completely. I’ve shifted from egotistically over analysis paralysis in a state of wanting and/or reaching outside of myself to feel good. It’s a cycle ... amphetamine / opiate -> Pokemon mystery dungeon and bathtub -> stay up all night printing out free energy patents and other research articles -> usually do “all nighter” through the next day -> take more bc I feel weird af -> crash -> feel terrible. Interesting. Could you use this technique for pain free birth?
@natasasumicletica42764 жыл бұрын
Wow. I had cesarean birth, but conscious, full of fear and Adrenalin. I refused being drugged afterwards because pain didn’t bother me. I knew it was big pain because of the big cut and the contractions in uterus while breastfeeding my son. I rehabilitated in half of the common time. In another video Wim talks about accepting the pain. We are able to do these things, to feel into it and recognize our true size and capabilities. BTW I healed anxiety and depression through witnessing and allowing a practitioner to speak a prayer while having switched brainwaves into Theta. This got deep into my unconsciousness and reprogrammed my perception and behavior. I am so thankful to those Pioniers, who are following their intuition and instinct and gutfeeling, lightning up the world.
@sweaterdoll4 жыл бұрын
100% agree with you. I had two pain-free births (except between 9 and 10 cm) in hospitals. I had no fear. Ina May Gaskin says at that time you are an elemental force. What do you think "the Kingdom of God is within you" means given the context of the Biblical narrative? You do know that there is much disagreement over the meaning of this Scripture within various corporate sects. It is clear to me, at least at this point (which is always available for update given more data or improve logical analysis), is that the very essence of the Kingdom of God emanates from inside the person. What is this essence that emanates from inside us? CARE FOR OTHERS EQUAL TO OURSELVES. Where does CARE come from? Inside you. What do you need to do to enter the Kingdom of God? Care for others EQUAL to your yourself (it is the ideal, anyway. Thank God for forgiveness. But we should be trying hard!). Of course, love for God is required, too. But why? Because God is the SOURCE OF CARE FOR OTHERS EQUAL TO ONESELF! This is the ONLY way to live in eternity as God says we will live through eternity.

Truly wonderful! I too recently experienced the love of my life leave via dis-ease called Leukemia. My heart broke into a million pieces. He was beautiful, strong and healthy and just months later went to the spirit world after the diagnosis. There is so much more to this life than we can possibly understand. Consciousness survives the death of the physical form and is eternal. I can say that the medical establishment killed him. They are focused on disease. They are focused on the material only. They are very limited. There was no offer of anything alternative, so we did it on our own for as along as he was alive. I greatly appreciate what you are sharing to all of us who are ready and willing to allow for how powerful we are. What we focus on expands. I am very new in my Buddhist beliefs and practice but I have thought about this before. I know that if I keep practicing I will be able to heal my body in ways that I can't quite imagine now. I fully believe in breath work and being able to lower your heart rate, lower your blood pressure, visualize the internal parts of your body and send healing energy to them. Almost three years ago I had a surgery that ended up giving me complications and putting me back in the hospital. While I was there I began to visualize the remaining organs around the one that had been taken and send healing energy to each one. It's incredibly hard but this man has made it his life's purpose to do this AND demonstrate that it CAN be done. And the part about always having to be clothed and how that blocks our bodies from feeling the stimulation from nature struck me in a knowing way. It's sad too! He also gave me an idea though. It is already too warm here where I live to enjoy the outdoors but I was thinking that I could get a gym membership with a pool and still reap some of the benefits that he talks about😍.

L.A. Jameson I hope you continued the practice. Effects are cumulative. At it 3 years now. I feel and move like I’m 20 years younger.
@kittendivine15 жыл бұрын
The tingling is a sign of oxygen deprivation. You are not breathing in more oxygen, because your red blood cells are already saturated for 94-100% with oxygen, even if you breath teeny tiny amounts of air. (If you want proof, use an oximeter). What you are doing though, is exhaling A LOT of carbon dioxide. The lower the carbon dioxide in the blood, the LESS oxygen can be absorbed into the bodily tissues. This is because of The Bohr effect. The reason why you can hold your breath for that long afterwards, is because your body really badly wants to get the carbon dioxide levels up again, so it holds unto the carbon dioxide that is constantly being produced by not breathing for a while. It's not a healthy way to increase your breath hold time. If you want to learn a healthy way to increase your breath hold time, with healthy high carbon dioxide levels and lots of oxygen in the tissues, check out The Buteyko method.
@ngprovidence12755 жыл бұрын
kittendivine1 your physiological assessment is modestly accurate except for your conclusion that it’s not healthy. It’s very healthy. Intermittent hypoxia has powerful benefits. And..your body isn’t “trying to get Co2 back up”. You are able to get to that beneficial hypoxic state because you’ve blown of Co2, which is the primary driver of respiration.
@kittendivine15 жыл бұрын
@@ngprovidence1275 You claim my comment was only modestly accurate, but you didn't go into specifics. It's true that CO2 is the primary driver of respiration. But in general it does not increase breathing when CO2 is high and suppress it when CO2 is low like you seem to think. It just tries to keep the CO2 level the same, whether the CO2 level you are accustomed to is high (healthy) or low (unhealthy). So that's why the body tries to get the CO2 back up to the old level by not breathing for a while. You absolutely need CO2 for oxygen to be absorbed by your cells. So in this case, it's also a protection mechanism from your body. You breathing can stop for a while or you pass out, in the worst case you get brain damage, but you do not die. It's a form of apnea you are creating actually.Even the Wikipedia article below states that ''Permanent brain damage can occur after as little as three minutes [of a cessation of breathing due to apnea]'. Also, check out the part 'Hyperventilation'. It confirms everything I just said. You are temporarily increasing breath hold time at the expense of oxygen content in the tissues. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apnea The Buteyko method is a much healthier way to increase breath hold time and goes hand in hand with increased oxygen content in the tissues.
@kittendivine15 жыл бұрын
Also realize that after 10-15 minutes of hyperventilation, the center in your brain that regulates breathing will adjust to the new lower level of CO2. This will become the new normal. So chronically, you will have lower oxygen content of the tissues as a result. With the Buteyko method you do the opposite. You train your breathing center to slowly get accustomed to higher levels of CO2, resulting in higher oxygen content in the cells 24/7.

@@stevengruber57 -FUNNY you should mention this cos I started it again when I wrote that comment and that buzz that I used to get that wore off - don't get it any longer... I have started getting ice cold showers cos I know that DOES help the immense system, and I do the breathing in the cold shower cos actually that stops the shower feeling cold - if you do the deep breathing and concentrate on that, the shower just feels body temperature... AND the cold shower is, I have to confess, a great way to start the day. SO - that's my update for you - hope it helped.

Wim Hof sounds like a character played by Robin Williams.

Haha! Especially if you take some clips out of context, then he seems like a comedic character.

That would have been a nice connection Robin and Hof. You should watch Robin Williams early movie Survivors. Watch the ending. It sort of explains a bit of Robin's disease sort of.
