I love your work on this type of content, from tik tok to Instagram to here. With all the hype around the new Spiderman movie that includes a cameo of daredevil, it would be really cool to see something on Kingpin from the daredevil series.

Great video. The one thing I would also say is important, was when he said at the end 'thank you Mr Kimber.' Thought that was more important than people think in a way

@@Zarakiiwii well it's kind of like frame control. Every interaction, they're trying to set a precedent. So, this guy Billie Kimber put Tommy in a lose/lose situation. He either picks the coin up and looks like he's been bent to the will of Billie Kimber, or he doesn't pick up the coin, and insincere and that he's got an agenda. Clever move by Billie Kimber. But, Tommy has to keep the lead of the interaction. If you keep the lead, you then have the power to steer it later on. Even though sometimes by taking that lead you have to appear like you were happy to do the very thing you weren't happy to do in the first place. It doesn't matter, at least you keep that lead and you can steer that easier later on. I've had that, where I've had to make out I'm happy about something I'm not, because then at least I look like I'm still in control of the situation, and I maintain the lead and the frame enough to be able to steer it later. It was actually harder to say 'thank you Mr Kimber' than it wasn't. That's just my thought. Plus, it's one last buttering of Billie Kimber's ego up. The last parting shot

@@playerovgy yes I totally agree! He maintained the appearance of calm, cool collected behaviour despite his true feelings. He’s very masterful at presenting himself as in control

Great breakdown - absolutely love you work! Really enjoyed the way you unpicked the subtleties of how Tommy swallowed his pride as he knew that in that moment giving up that small amount of ground would ultimately lead to taking back all of the land that Kimber occupied. Like Tim Grover says his Mind was stronger then his feelings. Two characters I'd love for you to breakdown would be from Narcos Mexico: Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo and how he bought all the plaza bosses together. And then Amado Carrillo Fuentes and the way he decided to move from the shadows to the main guy!
