Those who love God obey His commandments. For true believers, obeying God is not burdensome, the grace of God empowers us to live in accordance with God's will. However, to the lost who are not in Christ, things of God seem so hard, and keeping God's commandments seems difficult.

@@lemonade71440 Here is a tip I learned with OCD. If your thought gives you a consequence then it’s an ocd thought. Like “ if I don’t do xyz then this will happen.” Don’t be afraid to investigate your intrusive thoughts. Ask why it’s there , what could trigger it, and it helps lessen them. Try mindfulness.. the intentional use of your attention. Your inhale and exhale are your anchor just like a boat has one in an ocean full of waves. It will help you keep your focus on your breath. Redirect from the thought to your breath no matter the amount of times you need to. Wish you all the luck and healing. Intrusive thoughts are no fun. 🙏🏼

Every time I leave a motel room, I make up the bed and clean up the room a bit...I am a bit OCD about it. The holy spirit has been dealing with me regarding my large (really large),gaudy earrings, blush (wearing less of it), and resting when I need to rest awhile otherwise I tend to just about work myself to death. I have more arthritis and pain these days and a lot of it is because I won't rest. Even when I rest I don't always rest..I try to write! Then after 8 hours in front of a screen typing, I wonder why I have eyestrain! I keep the cleanest house of anyone I know and I found out recently that most people don't bake as much as I do either! My son informed me that I was the only person he knew who still baked cornbread and did it from scratch! The things we think we still need to do, sometimes God sends us subtle hints that say...no, maybe you don't. So your message is very relevant to me. I get it! God deals with us with the little things sometimes. I am sure I don't make it easy on him. I am in my fifties and in addition to everything I already do...I work on my car and sometimes do basic carpentry work around the house. It's been suggested to me by a few people around me that maybe I do too much. This is exactly what the holy spirit has been dealing with me on! Anyone else find themselves arguing with the holy spirit regarding something as simple as resting when you know you should? A part of me wants to obey God but honestly...mostly when it's convenient for me. Some part of me is a little afraid I will end up like my dad (stepdad). He died of a heart attack at 45 after an 80 hour work week. I get up early every day and make my husband's lunch only to find out that his coworkers wives don't and here it is, I have done this for 30 years! I am a creature of habit. God has been dealing with me on that too! I resist change. I feel antediluvian...like a stranger in a strange land. It's as though I stepped out of the past and I am suffering culture shock in the present. Sorry to ramble, I couldn't sleep. Thanks for the message. It has me thinking on things a little bit.

You might be talking about staying in your room in motels for multiple days. But, just in case...I used to clean cabins at a state park. When the guests left, we had to assume a made bed had been slept in and strip it down, anyway. If there were two made beds in the room, we had to unmake them both.

Hear answers only God can give you, regarding obedience. For thus says the Lord YahuShua whom you call jesus: "My sons, listen closely as I speak to you this parable: There were three men who devoted their lives to God, three men who sought to serve The Lord their God in righteousness. The first went out feeding the poor and the hungry, doing all he could for the needy, as he was able. The second gave everything he had to those who asked, with no thought to himself, until the day came when he had nothing more to give and he too had to ask. Yet the third did not go out, nor did he give to all who asked, but bowed down each day seeking the will of God, wanting always to walk in the ways of The Lord. Years passed by, and the three men continued in their walks, serving God each day as they were able. Then the day came when each was presented with a new choice, one which they had not faced before. To the first, The Lord sent a prophet, saying, “Thus says The Lord: Draw back now your hand from the needy, and no more go out to feed the poor and the hungry round about, but obey the Word of My mouth and sound the trumpet.” But he refused and went away in unbelief, appalled by the Word he had heard by the mouth of the prophet. The second man was faced with a similar choice; to him God sent the Word of The Lord in a book. Yet because it was not found in his Bible, the man immediately rejected it and went his way in unbelief, appalled by the Word which had been given him in the name of The Lord. And to the third, The Lord Himself said, “My son, the time has come for you to give up all you hold most dear, to give up your life for My purpose, to serve without constraint... To be greatly hated and persecuted for My name’s sake.” And with tears streaming, the servant said, “Yes, Lord.” Therefore, My sons, I ask you, of these three men, which one was truly devoted to Me, though all did good and fruitful works? For indeed many are called, yet few are chosen, few have ears to hear. Thus learning the lesson of obedience is far greater than witnessing a prophecy come to pass, or receiving healing by a miracle. For obedience is born of love. For those who have no trust seek after signs, and those who remain in unbelief wait for miracles. And those whose requests are met, while in unbelief, will soon demand them. And those who receive a sign, yet have no trust, will only expect the more. Yet only those who love Me, Without condition, will remain faithful... And only those who truly know Me Will endure in times of trouble... Says The Lord." Says He who is One, whose name is YAHUSHUA-YAHUWAH. From His Volumes of Truth, the Trumpet Call of God.

1/Geoffrey Lang's journey with the Quran Many non-Muslims converted to Islam, and this is a proof of the vitality and spiritual appeal of this religion despite the weakness of Muslims. But the story of Geoffrey Lange represents a unique model, because his conversion from atheism to Islam was through a self-search journey far from influences of cultural contact with Muslims. The matter can be likened to the fact that the revelation of the Qur’an was descended directly to the heart of a man in a different culture, at a different time and in a place different from the baseline of the first revelation, which indicates the potentials inherent in the Qur’an and its transcendence on the cultural, social and historical specifics, even if a man does not know anything about the circumstances of his coming down The culture of his adherents was able to discover a great deal of spiritual, philosophical and moral richness in the folds of that book, through direct contact with him without intermediaries and interpreters. Geoffrey Lang is an American professor of mathematics, he was raised in a Christian family, and at the age of sixteen he converted to atheism after the gap widened between the existential questions that haunted him and the religious belief that he grew up with. His questions were inspired by his own family experience, as he lived a horror-filled childhood according to his description, as his father was cruel and violent towards his kind and friendly mother, who represented his love and shelter. This prompted him to ask about the existence of God, and why did God create the universe in such a way that it is full of violence and suffering? Why did he not make us angels and put us in heaven as long as it was within his power? Geoffrey Lang remained in his atheism until the age of twenty-eight, when a "non-committed" Saudi family gave him a copy of the translation of the Qur’an, and he accepted the gift as a compliment. One night, while he was alone in his apartment, he found nothing to read, so he curiously grabbed the translation of the Qur’an and opened the first page. In his book "The Struggle for Faith", Geoffrey Lange describes his experience with the Qur’an, saying: “You cannot read the Qur’an unless you are serious about reading it. The Qur’an attacks you directly and personally, discusses you, criticizes you, and challenges you. I was with the Qur’an on the other side, on the weak side, because the author knows me more than myself. The artist may draw an eye that follows you wherever you go, but how can the author of a book follow your thoughts and anticipate them in your daily fluctuations ?? The Qur’an always precedes what I think about, removes barriers that I have placed before it for many years, and answers my questions. Every night I put questions and objections, and the next day I found the answers. It seems that the author was reading my thoughts, and put the answer to them in the following lines that I will read! I found myself through the pages of the Qur’an, and was terrified of what I saw. I found myself pushed to a corner where I can only choose one! When he arrived to the creation of Adam, a scene which starts from verse 30 of Sura: "As the Lord, the angels said, I will create the earth Khalifa said Atjal where the mischief therein and shed blood, while we praise praise and sanctify you" .. represented this verse shock to his ideas, because it is contrary to the view The religious one that he grew up with and which sees the presence of man on earth as a punishment for his sin after his expulsion from Paradise, but this verse says that man is honored and that he is the successor of "deputy and steward" in this land to play a positive role! The second positive shock in the same verse was in the question of the angels: “Do you have someone in it to spoil and shed blood?” Jeffrey says astonished: “This is exactly my question! Why do you create this aggressive creature that is capable of doing evil at a time when you can create angels! Everything I thought about, everything that I had experienced in my life was at the heart of this question. " Geoffrey Lange continues his reflections on the scene of Adam’s creation in Surat al-Baqarah “and Adam taught all names”: “This verse does not refer only to indoctrination of names, but to that Adam is a being capable of learning. The first thing that the Qur’an emphasizes is the ability of man to know and distinguish himself from Angels have the gift of language, because language is not just a means for human beings to learn, but rather a means by which to receive the experiences of others who lived in hundreds of places far from him and hundreds of years that separate him from them. This means accumulating experience and sharing knowledge. When God shows the angels this feature in the new creation, He says to them: “Did I not tell you that I know the absence of the heavens and the earth, and I know what you appear and what you are concealing,” as if God is saying to the angels: Yes, human beings are capable of doing abominations, but look at these amazing mental capabilities Which you overlooked. Humans can sin and make misery, but they too can do the exact opposite. Geoffrey Lange was inspired by that dialogue between God and the angels as the title of his other book, which he called "Even the Angels Ask." He says, confessing, "Until this moment in my life, I was doing what the angels did, I could see one side, and for the first time when I read this verse I saw the truth! I have always been fascinated by the evil that lies in human beings, but man is able to create beauty as he makes ugliness, and is able to Exercising mercy as violence is practiced. " The scene of angels prostrating to Adam in which Geoffrey Lang reads that it is a confession from the angels thanks to this being, and that they will serve the growth and purification of human beings, and even Satan who refused to prostrate to Adam will serve the goal of purifying mankind, because the angelic power will push the person towards doing good while the demonic power will push him in the opposite direction. Man is a moral being who has to make a choice, and it is through moral choices that the human soul grows. So, according to the Qur’anic vision, a person is an educated being and a moral being. One of the meanings that attracted Jeffrey’s attention in this scene is the comparison between the story of eating from the forbidden tree in both the Bible and the Qur’an, as he says: “The Qur’an tends to underestimate some matters, and it is clear that God is not very bothered by the possibility of Adam eating from

This version of God reminds me of Genghis Khan. When he would expand his empire into new areas, as long as the inhabitants pledged fealty to him and paid their recurring tallage (or tax), then all would be well - as long as they continued to obey, that is. And Khan did good things for those who obeyed him, like grant religious freedom to his subjects, abolish torture, encourage trade. He even created the first international postal system. But for those who disobeyed Khan’s edicts, the consequences were dire, indeed. His soldiers would kill everyone in the area including children and babies, burn down their villages, and salt the fields so nothing would grow there. Basically decimate the whole area. He would even pile corpses and severed heads in the middle of town squares as a warning to all those who may think of disobeying him in the future. Kind of like in the Noah fable, where God drowned every man, woman, child and baby on the planet, except for one family, in a similar savage, merciless, terrorizing kind of act that resulted from disobedience.

2/The tree does not feel threatened, "and by that he refers to the climate of conflict that encapsulates this story in dealing with it in the Old Testament. In the following verse: “Satan removed them.” At first glance, Jeffrey thought that there was a mistake in translating the word “so remove them,” and he consulted an Arab friend to make sure that the word was translated! He was expecting anger and divine revolution. Is the greatest sin in the history of mankind called zalfa! Meaning a simple slip, then in the next verse Adam received words from his Lord and repented of him. Geoffrey Lang summarizes the overall vision of the objectives of the Qur’an according to his reflections. He says that there is a set of “good deeds” that the Qur’an urges the believers to do, such as “mercy - tolerance - justice - defending the oppressed - gaining knowledge and wisdom - generosity - truthfulness - peace.” “We cannot relate to God’s essence because there is nothing like Him and the eyes cannot perceive Him, but we can approach Him by having His attributes. Just as a person approaches another person, there must be something they share, and when we are characterized by the qualities of mercy, generosity, kindness, justice and honesty, we will be able Feeling the wonderful qualities of God and His beautiful names, and the more we strive to be characterized by mercy, compassion, peace, truth and justice in this life, the more we are able to approach the supreme source of mercy, compassion, peace, truth and justice to the Lord of the worlds. Geoffrey Lange's reflections on the Qur’an are inspiring, deep and coherent, free of fiasco, serving the overall aims of the religion, and they are new and hardly found in the books of the first two that interpreted the Qur’an. The question is: Why was Geoffrey Lange's heart overflowing with these meanings that those who preceded him had not realized? The answer is that he came from a different cultural context, so he read the Qur’an free from the constraints of culture and legacies, and safe from the suspicion of confusing the divine with the human experience. His interaction with the book was direct even before he believed that it was revealed by God, so he had an open heart in dialogue with this book, and he did not know who its author was, and contemplated its lines objectively and impartially before issuing his judgment. Intellectual production is the product of urgent questions, and this man came from a background of great existential questions that disturbed his comfort and occupied his heart, so his mind was devoid of small questions and heavy jurisprudential details, while he was full of major questions such as human creation, evil, suffering and the purpose of life, so he read in the same text unless It is read by those who preceded it. A person may read a text thousands of times without realizing the close meanings that internalize it, because the condition of psychological and mental readiness has been absent. This is a proof that shows us that new experiences give us spiritual, philosophical and intellectual richness and that they fly us to broad horizons, and that we should not narrow widely, and that reading the Qur’an with cultural glasses alone is the same as someone who replaces a water tap with a running river. Therefore, we have to rejoice at the conversion of Muslims from other cultures, but without seeking to assimilate them into our culture and our legacies, as their belonging to different cultures is an enrichment and addition to the religion. I saw a European Muslim woman once placing next to her large volumes of translations from old books of jurisprudence, so I said to myself: It was enough for us to give them the Qur’an and some simple explanations without burdening their minds with unnecessary details. Geoffrey Lang himself realized the problem of mixing religion with culture, and gave an example from his trip to Mecca when he clashed with Arab customs, but not essential principles in the Qur’an, such as the separation of men and women in public activities, so he said that we must differentiate between the basic principles of religion and the culture of Muslims. Because when we confuse the two matters, we forbid many people from converting to Islam and impose restrictions on them that the Qur’an did not oblige them to.

Hey Joyce... one of those "little things" --- is the fact that women are not to preach.

Does The Word of God say that a woman should not preach but be quietly submitting to a Godly man?or remaining pure if she can? For those who can except this message. And about vanity, idolatry , adultary, witchcraft, sorcery, harlotry. Yes your right Joyce, HE does speak about being obedient in the small things. You should try it, and be an living example on the people of what a Godly woman is supposed to look like and behave like. For you will be held accountable for every word you have spoken in His Name. Heal the sick, raise the dead and set the captives free, don't keep them in slaved. This is not a judgement but a discernment and a loving message. For there is only 1 judge. People need to repent first and then and only then will they be in the Kingdom. The repentance is the gift from the Lord which sets them free. Gods words not mine. I would suggest you stop preaching. Thankyou
