I think it is great that you showed all the different brushes in action. This Is great for new painters. I prefer the knife whenever possible. I love texture & sneak it in at every opportunity. lol

A little trick from an. Oil painter artist to another : when you're done with brushes, clean it then put it some hand's cream : if it left some paint inside the brushes it will prevent it from drying and spoiled your precious tools and it allow brushes to keep its form when you put it away! yes I have tried it, it does take getting used to and it is going to dry quick oils give you a lot more freedom.

Love the clarity of your video. So far making this type of cloud isn't too hard for me, but do you have any suggestions that will make it easier to produce the effect of strong shafts of sunlight breaking through cumulous cloud layer? Back-lighting and the effect of different colours throughout is still a challenge.

I assume oil paints? I use acrylic, but I have some retarder and gel medium I plan on using to blend the clouds in a commissioned painting. Thanks for the blending advice!!
