Idk why I haven't seen this jus til now. I'm always wantin to see diff ways to paint fire and u did a great job here. I'd love to see how u would paint fire sideways,maybe on a tumbler/cup, or jus diff ways other than on a panel.idk if that makes sense lol but great job

Good stuff, as always. I always like to use your links to products to you get additional support for you efforts and very generous sharing of information. I do not see a link here for the satin varnish you mentioned. I have some store bought black canvas needing help. The black paint is covering the areas of over spray, but the black canvas is not matching, so I am curious if a varnish will even the background or if I need to paint the entire background with my black paint to get it to not show?
@theartworkshop4 ай бұрын
Thanks so much! And thank you for upgrading to a tier 3!! that's so nice of you and I great appreciate it. My favorite acrylic satin varnish is liquitex professional satin varnish. That stuff is incredible and locks down the layers underneath. Yes, varnish can do a very good job at evening out the finish. Generally in painting there is always going to be some variation in gloss levels throughout the painting. This is most common in oil painting, but is still apparent in acrylic paintings.

Hey great work as usual. Question, have you taken airbrush class when you started out?
@theartworkshop7 ай бұрын
thank you! I never took an airbrush class in my life, but I did take countless drawing and painting (oils mainly) classes in school. I think drawing is the most important thing to focus on. It's the basis or foundation for anything within art. That's just my opinion, but I hope it helps.

amazing job! you reminded me of how to fix the blue shift vs green shift lol. I wonder, do you own a laser cutter or do you mostly use hand-held shields and tape?
@theartworkshop7 ай бұрын
thanks so much! I just use freehand shields that I make with my cricut. I've never owned a laser cutter but it would be fun to test one out someday.

Hello mate, I was a paying member for a while I have just been on here now and apparently for some reason I am no longer a member?? I have tried to get back on but I can’t???
@theartworkshop7 ай бұрын
Daz! Yes, you've been a channel member for a long time and I can't thank you enough for it! I'm looking through the list of members and it says that you are not a member anymore. You should be able to become a member again by hitting the join button and choosing a tier. Maybe there is a youtube problem with it? Everything looks good here though. Had a few members join up in the last few days, so it seems to be working fine on my end. Regardless of that, please don't ever think you need to be a member to be a part of this chanel- you are no matter what. I'm so thankful for your support and if you ever need anything, please reach out! You've been so generous and I'm very grateful for you.
