lol…yep this is an older vid and honestly it’s SO difficult as I edit an art tutorial into a shorter vid..ie speed up most sections and I then get lots of comments saying “could you please not speed up or edit the videos and keep them in real time” so then I keep them longer and I get comments like yours 🤷♂️ can’t win 🤦 thank god for Shorts …you can watch most of my tutorials now in under 60 seconds .

Would you be happy to do a short video on your work area set up? I noted you have an exhaust fan of some sort and it always looks clean of overspray... I'm sure it would help a lot of us garage/home painters to see how you manage it so well :).

Great video. I'm interested in 3-D techniques like riverts but in reverse surface - onto Lexan or clear plastic for radio controlled cars. We paint inside to protect the paint from impacts.

Stunning work, the white highlights really make the details stand out. There's a guy who lives in Doncaster not far from me, he's got his own business just going round picking up wrecked car's. He has had his BRAND NEW towing truck painted in steel plate & checker plate and really rusty with studwork everywhere! Whoever has done the airbrushing must have been doing it for years! Very much like yours. It's proper eye-catching, he's got his details on a separate plate above the cab under the hazard lights and flood lamps. It looks a total wreck lol but BRAND NEW. I've been wanting to paint some New tin baths and 3ft tall chimneys with rusty plates and stud's, I've tried it but it looks garbage lol so your video has become very handy to me. Is there a way of making it look like the steel has been dented? Thank you once again, take care my friend 👍😷👍BIG THUMBS UP ALL DAY LONG👍😷👍

I'm a New airbrusher, ive been painting houses for years so im bringing everything down in scale for my after work hours. You have quickly become my most Fav artist to watch for airbrushing techniques. I forget a lot of your vids are clipped. How long does it generally take you to do something like this? I feel like I'm spending either a lot of time or too much time cleaning my gun tryin to make sure to get a perfect spray or I'm thinning my acrylics. Feel like it haults progress I'm tryna make, or B.) I don't realize exactly how tedious airbrushing can be

Was watching a different clip and somehow managed to delete it!!? 😠😠 Just have to say that your clips are the best! I've seen plenty of great airbrushing clips, yet never do they compare! 😁 A shoulder or head cam would teach us something close to your stroke. 😁😁👍 Totally brilliant fella!!

The rivets look like they’re absolutely time consuming, especially if you don’t have more than one airbrush on hand. Can’t argue with the result, though! Any tips for doing these with a single airbrush? It it just a case of once you’re done with the black layer realigning the mask to each one and hitting them with the white layer?

Started playing around with rivets yesterday. Rough start but today they looked much better. Then I tried applying the white…notice I said “tried”. What a disaster. What’s the trick/set up needed for such fine work?

What would be your recommendation for this process sprayed on a metal base, instead of a canvas... Could I use a gray primer then start with my white and be ok by the end when I clear coat. Wondering if my primer will look different if there is small areas with no actual paint
@davidm35693 жыл бұрын
So realistic. Hopefully will try this using a digital version on computer with painting software. I know it's not the same but at least I don't have to make a mess......😂 Please can I ask......I thought it was necessary to wear a mask to avoid breathing in paint vapour, is it that you have good air circulation or an extraction system? Thank you for the great tutorials.

I have a question regarding trident paint - how does it compare cost wise to createx? I'm in Brisbane so pretty much have to ship in all my paints... and am attempting to work out what gives best bang for buck and what is nicer to work with. Createx have an amazing range but I'm keen to try some alternatives :)

Great video, going to start practicing this tonight. I do have a question. What is your air pressure set at? I'm new to this but you are really putting down some paint. I liked and subscribed. Thanks for the info

Great video tutorial .... but boy that music really wound me up ... i ended up turning the sound down and using the captions.... much better without music especially stuff that just keeps looping around and not resolving.... But as for painting content excellent.
@AirbrushAsylum4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment and kind words re : my art and vid ...sorry you didn’t enjoy the music on this one, so far the response to the added music has been positive and I do hope that in most cases viewers find that it makes the content a little more interesting rather than just hearing the air from my brush when I am not speaking (even if the music is looped) lol 😂 nonetheless I appreciate the feedback and will continue to experiment and try my best to either add more songs to make the background music a little more engaging 👍🏻🤔
@kenbarton31364 жыл бұрын
@@AirbrushAsylum Hi, Music is very subjective... however I do come to your videos to learn from your mastery of the subject and hearing what you have to say. I like to have the airbrush hiss as I can sort of work out the pressures you use ...i think we all use our ears when airbrushing and can tell when things are going iffy when the noise changes.. the use of music during the sped up sections is valid and maye be should be featured more. Sorry to go on ... I'm a dubbing editor for tv so its a bit of a thing for me. Its just my opinion and in no way am I saying you vids are lacking because they are not and I learn so much from them. Thanks Ken
