Well, the intro is a great illustration as to why having a cutaway can be useful on an acoustic guitar. Reaching the high part on a non-cutaway takes a lot of dexterity!

First, I love your Ovation guitar! I've had my eye on one, but the inlays on yours catch the eye! I also really like that you skip the last down strum on the D. That definitely sounds better to me than just playing the same pattern through the whole song. I've not found anyone who breaks down the bass line yet. Yeah, it wouldn't be in the same octave, but it would be cool to play in the middle of the song. Thanks for the video, Steve!

HI Steve, I,am from Newcastle Australia, Great to learn from you, you make it so easy, Question, my guitar is shaped different to yours as it isn't curved underneath at the bottom and I am struggling with reaching the high notes on frets 12,13/13,15 & 15,17 for Brown eyed girl intro with my normal shape guitar. Any suggestions mate.
