can you explain the strumming pattern please! I would really appreciate it 😭

I find it helps to mute the strings and practice just hearing the rhythm/strumming along with the CD. But for the main /intro riff it's a Down on the first note and up on the second. For the verses when you're into the chords it's more of a Down, Down, Down when you play each chord followed by Down, Up general strumming, and when you do then "and when your fantasies..." It's similar down, down on the initial chord. It's got a kind of heavy handed Neil Young style chunky rhythm (heart of gold style) in the right hand. Not sure if that's of any use, but try muting the strings with your fretting hand and playing along listening to just the rhythm to get a feel for it 🙂
