Reconozco a ud como un excelente violinista,he tratado de tocar algunas de las melodías que interpreta con cierto éxito,ahora mi pregunta es por qué razón tomar el arco recortandolo así,es decir ,no tomarlo por la nuez como mandan los cánones?saludos y disculpe ...ánimo y a seguir impulsando tan bello y difícil instrumento...!

Nunca tuve lecciones y no aprendí de la manera correcta. No había Internet cuando estaba aprendiendo.

@@peakfiddler ok,no era por incomodarlo,pasa que cuando inicie a practicar tan bello y difícil instrumento el maestro respectivo,fue lo primero que instruyó :sujetar el arco.ya ha pasado algún tiempo y ahora que he avanzado un casi nada, sinceramente,pues si ,he comprobado que era teoría y uno se va adaptando a una forma más personal.. gracias por su respuesta,saludos y felicitaciones es UD un virtuoso. .mis respetos..!!!

Do you mean playing notes more clearly or how to improve intonation. Alternatively, is your violin sounding muffled?

@@peakfiddler yes I think it is sounding muffled . It was a cheap one from eBay so it might be that or it might be my playing.

Bowing technique is very important, I'll have a look and see if I have made a video about it, not sure atm. Cheap violins can be improved with better strings. I just replaced the strings on my cheap eBay electric with an old set of pirastro tonicas and it sounds clearer already.
