This is awesome! I've been wanting to learn little sadie for a long while now but most tutorials are for clawhammer style. I'd love if you made a tutorial one day for the cuckoo. Thanks for everything you do Jim!

Thanks for this one Jim! I know what I'm going to be working on today! I love this tune. And I love that in bluegrass you bend a string and it's called a "choke". Especially when you're playing a classic murder ballad.

Love this song, one of my faves since I heard Doc and Merle play it at the Winfield festival. I’ve played guitar for about sixty years and decided to learn (clawhammer) banjo. So I bought me a long neck Vega. I get a lot of inspiration from your videos, even the three-finger ones. So thanks for posting!

Hey Jim. I would appreciate an opinion. I am going to buy a Recording King banjo and not sure if I should get an RKR35 or RKR36, is it worth the few extra bucks for a 36? I have their open back and love it. Thanks for teaching me how to play!!
@JimPankey7 ай бұрын
Either is a great choice. Both are the same quality. The 36 has a glossy finish and is mahogany, where the 35 is satin and maple. So, essentially, get the 36 if you want a shiny finish. Both sound great.
