One tip if you are going to do farming, is to lay out farms of one morgan each right at Day 1, and leave them fallow. They will be gaining fertility just by sitting there, cost nothing, and will be in excellent shape when you are ready to plant them in year 2 or 3. This is useful anyway, but can be a big help if your fertility is low at the start.

That's not a bad tip, but in terms of actual yields it might only make a nearly immeasurable difference unless you leave it fallow for a long long time

@@Rhadamant Well, now that I have been playing the release version, I have to retract my advice. It seems now that fertility cannot be improved above its starting values. I have tried leaving it fallow, and using the perk, with 40+ sheep on a field for a few years, and nothing gets the fertility to rise above what it starts with.

@@HeavyLiftGaming I talked about the hype right before the stream and said pretty bluntly I thought it was sort of an average game, fairly incomplete to be releasing soon and that I expect once the hype dies down it'll be rated in the low 80s on steam. I didn't bother including that on the YT content because I'm not a review channel.

You should check out spiffing Brit’s let’s play he was basically able to solve the food problem and exploit the game using trade and spamming chickens for food. Basically chickens are OP and as long as you have money and resources to trade there is not a limit to what you can buy and how much. Including food

I practice the games I stream before I stream them and also read up on any aspect I don't understand by deep diving into forums, guides and DIscord chat so you all have competently made let's plays and tutorials. I do my homework.

I am not sure what you mean by dynasty but you can lose if you have no people left
