I think you are doing it wrong at 9:49 as it is stated in the manual at the bottom of page 10: "If the (Skill) check is successful, any Focus from unused dice is *gained immediately* and can be used to perform the spell's effect. Focus from unused dice is gained *before* the spell's effect is resolved, not after." So since you were at full focus, you cannot add anything and you have to subtract the 2 focus for Seeking Bolt, not 1.

9:03 Your mage could have left the room as started her turn with the goblin in the room, she didn't enter the room with the goblin which would have ended her movement (FAQ pg 6). Like your presentation.

Hey! :D At 28.51 you dont HAVE to attack the goblin, since it was already there at the beginning of your turn. you MAY , but you don't HAVE to !

Thank you, watched video tutorial with Dized app, read book multiple times, play through many times, your video helped immeasurably, I think I have a decent handle on this game now, was definitely a larger learning curve for such a small boxed game, lol.

Doesn't it say in the rules that performing a heroic action ends movement? Wouldn't you not be able to move afterwards then?

35:04 exact damage to just barely finish off the minion on the last turn before the torch running out. Somebody likes to live dangerously haha

Ad. 16:47 - according to the official appendix (that uses WORDS instead of icons, yay!), Chain Lightning targets 2 enemies that are both 2 tiles away from *the caster,* instead of chaining it off of the 1st target (A) up to 2 tiles away from it. A pity, though.

Great playthrough. Now I want to play again myself (my last Tiny Epic Dungeons playthrough was several months ago). My main gripe with the game is having that special boss arena with spaces with different effect but forced to taunt bosses out and fight them outside of the arena. Something really broke when they designed the game - this feels like a last minute change and the arena just became redundant.

I agree that part felt weird to me as well. Maybe people were killing bosses to easily so they decided make you get the boss to the alters.

I completely agree. I was so confused by this design-wise. I think some or most of the bosses should have had their seals on spaces deep in their arena, forcing players to move further into danger in the boss' arena to whittle the boss down. There are of course spaces within that help the heroes as well, but that's the risk and reward.

Wow! So lucky to only get 1 goblin with that initial action, if you get all 4 goblins you would most probably lose the game by the second or third turn! I certainly wouldn't recommend doing it as a general rule. Also when you enter the lair you should have turned the round track card to the boss side. Excellent playthrough, thank you!

Hey !!! at 51.20 when you taunt the boss, he will move HIS move points (in this case 2 at a time) each time you taunt him, ignoring every hero except the taunting hero

I thought you couldn’t enter the boss dungeon card on that side, I thought it was the right side. If it is either or and I read the directions wrong, I’m gonna have to start going on the other side bc usually I play gerund the blue, and his magic is at a plus 3 on one of the bosses I can’t remember

Moving into a space with an enemy ends your movement so even though you shield bashed the Goblin as a free action on your first turn, you shouldn't have continued your move afterwards. You could still have taken your heroic action though there wasn't anything to do there but rest.

I really like this game. When I first got it I kind of struggled but then when it clicked I love it. I always play it solo because when people see all the pieces they run. LoL. I have watched some videos on Bag of Dungeon. I realize I'm not a pro on really understanding game mechanics...but it seems these games are very similar to me and I wonder how similar?? Maybe I should watch more videos.... What I mean is....if I have this and enjoy this would I need or want Bag of Dungeon?
