I absolutely adore this track, but yeah I completely understand your take on it. I almost entirely play on 200cc, where that isn't really an issue I have to deal with especially at my skill level. The reason I myself love the track is honestly mostly aestetics, but on 200cc the turns just feel so right to play without much annoyance outside of the cannon glider, the rings are nice to go through and play really smoothly, and I like the converyor bit, but honestly it is the visuals and music that really elevate it for it. It is definately a simpler track despite the visuals, but it just works for me perfectly. Really my only complaints are the first cannon and the fact it feels too short despite the fact it isn't even a short track, but that might be a good thing in disguise if it goes quickly for me.

This track is still my favorite city track from tour and I know there’s not that much going on track design wise but I just really like it specially for the music and visuals.

aw man iwas with u till the end, my hot take is Singapore is not only the best DLC city track but the best DLC track period AND would make my current top 5 fav tracks out of all 80 base game/dlce or however many we're at now - love me some gliders and love me some sectional tracks plus enjoy the snake drifting like in shroom ridge which ii like despite looking meh af

As someone that grew up with MKDD and MKDS, I personally greatly appreciate snaking being an optimal strategy on this course.

I love this track but that’s because I love snaking (well apart from the music and everything being incredible) and it makes sense a person who dislikes snaking wouldn’t like it. I think they could’ve done some things differently to make it more fun for players who don’t like or even know how to snake. For example I think making the planters near the start trackable instead of walls, sort of like how the ones in coconut mall work, would have been more fun than the non-snaking strats (just driving straight lol)

Nice video bayesic! I agree with most of your opinions about the track but for some reason I really enjoy tracks with a lot of back and forth mini turbos. I respect your opinion though because it can be very annoying when you don’t get your mini turbos out in time.

I'd be interested in a series where you go over how to run tracks in 150cc online. I see a lot of people doing shroomless cuts like in Hyrule and Donut Plains, but I have no idea where to learn them.

I wanted to say "posting a comment for algo purposes" but I'll ask a question instead. Since the build being used has the lowest MT stat, what makes it still usable rather than switching to a build with a higher MT stat?

Because the strats you would do with higher MT would be exactly the same, so it’s better to just take the increased speed

i hate motion glidern but i vector when poss, how come u dpnt charge up a mt and vector boost on the blue ramp b4 the water jets at the end of sectiion 2/3?

Timing is a bit too tight. Even in the WR they don’t get an MT but instead do this weird boostless motion glider strat

Nah it helps out a lot on some tracks. Especially with high MT builds which this is not

Personally, I think this is one of the worse tracks in wave 4, its better than ds mario circuit but its nothing special, the music goes hard and its very good graphically but why would I play this and not waluigi stadium or yoshis island? Nice video!
