Nice video, Jo! Tracing patterns is very therapeutic for me and watching how you deal with the sleeve pattern is absolutely gold❤. Thanks for sharing👏

Love all of your videos - can you tell me what was that marking pen you used after you used the tracing wheel and can you buy it from Minerva? Thank you

Did you raise the neckline on your Linden? I made one and the neck was very large. Thanks for another great video!

Hi there, no I didn't. You can get a large neckline if the neckband fabric is very stretchy or a bit too long in a stretchy fabric. You can get different neckline with different fabrics. If your neckline is too long try using a tubular rib for the neck binding. It pulls the circumference in a bit.

Thanks for sharing. Is there a reason you don't put tracing paper between the fabric & and pattern, then use the tracing wheel? I am fairly new to sewing, but that is how I trace my pattern.

Hi Vanessa. I must admit I don't use that technique very much now that I have fallen in love with carbon paper and the serrated wheel. If what you do works for you, then keep going. Hopefully the video shows a range of things that might work for different people in different spaces or with different projects. I am not sure why putting tracing paper under the the pattern piece and the fabric would help you transfer the shape onto the fabric. Maybe I am not understanding your question quite right? You can ask again if I have not been clear. Jo

@joanneroberts1088 Thanks for responding, I think what I am calling tracing paper is really carbon paper. I will definitely try it your way to see which technique I like better.

What’s that Seam allowance gauge called? It’s not posted in your description.

Can you please reply with the link to marker pen shown at 11.05. It looks better than any of the marker pens and tailors chalk I have used. Thank you 🙂
