I like how your shake is very fast and controlled! I watched some before this and they really spun their hand around the earth haha.

I started to use silicone bags to put my daughters sandwich in. That will save on some of the plastic waste. I also use Tupperware type containers to freeze or store leftover foods. And bring my own coffee cup to my favorite bistro when I want to purchase a cup of coffee. One of the stores I shop at gives a bag discount at the checkout for bringing your own bags.

Yes that's a great idea! I've been slowly switching over kitchen supplies like that over the years, and this is a good reminder to try silicone bags at last! Thanks for sharing!

Hello!!!! So glad to see you posting!! I think that if we were more conscious of our everyday habits, the small things can really make an impact. I think work places should go with the large bottle filtered water that allows people to fill their bottles rather than a drinking faucet, using air dryers in restrooms, using washcloths as rags instead of paper towels, shutting off the water when brushing teeth or shaving. Also, I have made more of an effort to join my errands to when I am out for appointments so that I am not only saving gas money, but the pollution level.

These are great improvements!!! Using washcloths instead of paper towels and keeping the water off While brushing are two things I’ve personally focused on the past 2 years. Thanks for sharing!

I was taught that the fingers are placed on each side of the wrist as apposed to the hand where you touched. Have you ever seen it on the wrist?
@ASLMeredith2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for sharing! No, haven’t seen that.

@@ASLMeredith I think it's the same sign, just fingers move a little from person to person... on the hand seems to be the original way, so, Thanks 😊

Do to overpopulation and the mass destruction Humainty has caused Earth we are past the point of no return. Global warming is killing my states power grid and I do HVAC for a living. Anywho, maybe I should go back to your earlier videos I'm not advanced enough to catch your signs in between describing the sign you are teaching. Is there a video of you signing at a slower speed when you are just doing complete sentences?
@fenurse9 ай бұрын
Cause earth is flat so that makes sense!😮
@ASLMeredith9 ай бұрын
The non-dominant hand represents the globe, and the dominant hand fingers are pinching the axis on which it spins.

Happy earth day! I have a small question is there a difference between the signs for “girl” and “every day”? Or is it a out of context situation? Thank you! 🪸🌏✨🌊
@rosieasl2 жыл бұрын
What I learned is that girl has the thumb rub on the jawline towards the chin. Every day is a fist, with the fingers along the jawline but moving in a linear movement to the cheek. So it is the movement and position of the hand shape. Hopefully if I am incorrect, I will also be corrected by Meredith
@ASLMeredith2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the question, Sharkie - and the answer, Patrick! Yes, the sign GIRL is palm-facing-forward, with the thumb pointing toward and dragging along the jawline. For EVERYDAY, the palm is facing inward toward your head and it's the knuckles that brush along the jawline. A video on this is coming !! Stay tuned.
