That exact thing happened to me on my last homework, I skipped one of the story titles, but then redid the video the next day and turned it in again, everything works out~

wanted to share a story. i’m a cashier at a local dollar tree. there’s a customer and his adult grandson that come in every so often ,both deaf. they are always smiling and nice, when i realized they were reading my lips i tried to continue the interactions normally, right? one day, the man’s card declined. which now is so common that people can lock their cards, so i always say ,is your card locked? rather than saying it declined because as someone with anxiety ,i hate it. well when it declined, i told him it declined bc i knew he was reading my lips but he was still confused. it took a minute ,we figured it out ,his card was fine. the next time they came in, it was busy . i was the only cashier. i like to think im personable and friendly regardless. when it was their turn, i rang them told them have a good day smiled ,normal. the grandson pulled out his phone and had a note typed “thank you for being so nice. your smile is always so warming.. please always continue to be yourself . have a good day.” i think about them all the time , i haven’t seen them since. i just always think how i say to myself , wow i wish i could communicate with them.. but he took the time to tell me that in a way id understand and it made me cry happy tears. so since then ive learned to say have a good day and happy halloween , in case they had come in and now happy thanksgiving. please send vibes that my friends come in and i can tell them happy thanksgiving this week
