Signs are obviously important to Sign Language, but so is facial expression. In today's video I'm going to teach you non-manual signals, also known as facial expression. This is 1 of the 5 parameters of signs which are the fundamentals of signs in American Sign Language.

I love all your videos and I actually took asl through high school! I definitely want to relearn everything since my college doesn't offer asl as a language!! I remember watching the bravo family and learning about how facial and body expressions used the way we as tone to express emotion in our voice.

Hi, I'm just learning ASL and one problem I've run into is your videos teach vocab but not the words to put sentences together, It would be really awesome if you could do a video where you did words like that. Some examples would be: have, but, do, and other stuff I can't think of now but if I do I will edit this comment.
