Learn to transfer swipe .. 😀. What not to do!

Base paint for my swipe is a mix of all previous pours including house paint, colored paints and a bit of cell mix too.
Base paint for clean tile is Glidden essentials in eggshell mixed with a scoop of Valspar Uktra deep base in satin.
Colors used were Liquatex Paynes grey, Amsterdam white mixed with white cell mix, golden ocre. Atelier red gold.
Cell mix in black and TLP ore/Atelier brilliant gold.

It was a designer bag Roslyn..lol & no plastic does not make a good protective garment. The paint just drips and runs down to my toes, then i walk around making even more mess. Today I made a paint box with 4 walls. I've gone desig er! 😆 Cindy

Many thanks Brenda.. I have to tell you that a plastic bag doesn't exactly cut it as protection... the paint runs off the bag and into your feet and the floor. I think a puppy pool is a great idea and I am looking into getting one too! Whi cares if there is a pool on my kitchen table..I'm the only one to see it.. 😀. Cindy

As always beautiful and thank you so very much for sharing your talent. You don't know it but you have taught me so much and I am very greatful. Although I just fell last Tuesday and in the hospital with a broken pelvis in 2 places and so very stressed when I will ever paint again (which comical, painting is my therapist and I will not be able to go to my therapy that I so desperately need right now) sobbing 😭 my eye balls out... Oh no Deborah, I'm sorry this has happened to you. Speedy recovery 🙏. I'm happy that you have learned watching me, I learn something new every time I paint . Painting is my therapy as well, I paint when I'm happy, sad , hot flashing and up all night..lol. Creative outlets are important in the crazy kaotic world we are all living in. I hope you heal fast and can get back to some form of normal. Will you be following up with physio? Cindy

This is so pretty. Well, like all your other ones too! ❤ What are you doing with these tiles once they are dry? Felt on the back or can you even hang them somehow at the wall? They would be too pretty to be used as coasters!

Hi Uta, sorry for such a long delay in responding back to you . Once my tiles have cured I resin the tops and copper foil or paint the edges. I them attach a d ring style hanger to the back and once covered in felt they are wall ready. They sell quite well and they is quite an easy way to finish them. Cindy 😀

Hi Lynette, so sorry I missed your question. I am using Aussie floetrol 3/1 with Amsrerdam black or white. I also use US floetrol mixed as follows.. 3/1/1 + minwax wood conditioner. Floetrol/Elmer's glue all/Amsterdam paint. Either works. Aussie floetrol is quite costly but very effective. Cindy
