You explain these so perfectly. I love it how you say each word and the conjugate it too like "to go, going, I am going". this explains the whole process and you learn grammar without even realizing it. Some people would just say "I am going" that is "gidiyorum" and you would have no idea why you say that and not "gitiyorum" or just "gitmek". Your videos are amazing. Can we say that _mak için is informal, whereas _mak üzere is formal ?

We use "mak için" in both formal and informal situations in daily life but "mak üzere" is used only on some diplomatic texts and especially on tv and newspaper news.

@@learnindonesian1862 "Almaya gittim" and "almak için gittim" are the same but we can not say "sınavı geçmeye ders çalıştım". Because the suffix "-meye, -maya" works with only a few verbs, not with every verb. So it's better to use "için" for now because "için" works with every verb.

First "to" is a preposition with a noun, second "to" is for infinitive with a verb so they have totally different meanings and functions.

They are different. Ekmek almak için markete gittim = I went to the supermarket to buy bread. Çok ekmek yediğim için kilo aldım = I gained weight because of eating too much bread.
