For the Undead Giants at the nexus points... you can try to kill the minions individually without aggro-ing the giant by staying away from him. If you attack the Giant, all minions become agressive, but can be easily dealth with via a typical Threads of Fate -> Volley of Souls -> Soul Sap -> Volley of Souls. The giant himself uses Melee only so using Deflect/Protect Melee will reduce your food consumption, unless your dps his high enough to out heal it with Soul split.

As a returning OSRS player who farmed a lot of Vorkath like 4 years ago and needed a refresher, I got so confused on why _everything_ looks different lol That's so cool that Vorkath is in RS3

It seems the power level is how much power zemoregal has over vorkath, when it gets to the bottom vorkath attacks zemo and deal decent damage to him then it spikes back up. Didnt even know about the empowering zombies as i ignore them all but shield skele and healer. Maybe power level has other aspects to it but it seems you want to keep it low so that the zemo fight at the end is shorter

How I do it on Normal mode: try to kill the little guys alone if possible. If not, use protect/deflect Melee since the Giant uses Melee only. Have 3 soul stacks, then focus on the Giant. All others will be aggroed now. Threads of Fate -> Volley of Souls -> Soul Sap -> Volley of Souls All others are dead. Continue to kill the giant with Protect/Deflect melee. Use Sacrifice and Resonance when needed. This strategy has me do the entire siege phase without using food.

Use the mobs attacking the fort for Soul Split heals in between each kill. Free heals. Blood Siphon and Scythe give a good heal. Just be sure to clean up any attacking you as they will follow.

A lot of good stuff in here! A few notes: - A super antifire potion works just as well as a wyrmfire or overload salve potion. It halves the damage from the drfire breath, roughly. - The ghost healer only heals about 1k every 3 seconds. I wouldn't target it specifically. I'm still working this out, but the power level affects the amount of damage absorption. It might do more, but WIP.

I got super lucky with the ballista when the content dropped and got 3 kills and sold the hides for like 400k each and then after that i couldn't figure out how I kept dying over and over until I read there's a mechanic where if you dont shoot it your dead meat and was like physically exhausted. Woke up the next day and won every try. I think once you get that mechanic the rest is just as simple as watching out for the damage all the mechanics arent instant you can see them coming like gem dragons. but, i duno about hard mode i tried that once and got stomped.

there is really no need to dodge the aoe attacks if you wear necromancy tank gear, simply use freedom and keep on dpsing. I love this boss :D

I don't play RS3 (I play a lot of OSRS) and I watched the guide to see how they translated the fight to a mostly different system and it feels weird not seeing any of vorkath's abilities from OSRS be there in the RS3 version. I was expecting the mortar, acidspray/barrage, and zombified spawn attacks at least to be transferred as they ate the main things you keep in mind in the oldschool version. Here it seems like they had an idea for a cool ice dragon and decided after to say "hey, why make a new dragon with new lore when we already have lore we can borrow from OSRS with its dragon." I don't think it's a bad boss just looking at it, but it's really not vorkath

Thanks man and I do like how Vorkath will try to fight Zemouregal by our side temporary, breaking free of his control. I do hope the poor dragon will be ok and we'll see him again in the future

All this information is helpful, however, as a noob PVMer that still uses revo++, all of this information when learning a boss becomes very overwhelming. Can I suggest that instead of adding all the extra "You can ALSO do this (resonance, etc.)" information, can you make a quick and easy video on optimal ways to fight (i.e. Balista when he goes up, surge/dive away from spikes, etc.)?

Got a good feeling vorkath will be dead content before christmass. While the design is cool and i think they did a good job with all the visuals and effects. The health pool of the boss just feels bloated and the fight feels like it takes 2-3 times the ammount of time it should. For some 150-250k rewards. Is it worth doing? Yeah it is. For that nexus. But after that 90% of people doing the content will drop off.

I hit 'em with the vuln-bomb/dreadnip combo. That plus an enchanted salve amulet means you're mathematically doing 37% more damage. You can also bring an inventory full of brew flasks and a yak full of fish

You can first pick off the four (static) mobs around each giant individually (not the ones running to the fort), before fighting the giant itself. I found most of the damage I got during the siege phase came from the combo of the giant and the four mobs attacking all at once when you aggro the giant. Takes some more time, but now I can get through the siege phase without having to use supplies

It's especially rare for those with higher level gear, often meaning they're more experienced in game. They might just kill the giants afk on revolution with the described gear. They were polite about it, told the OP to practice on lower level PvM where the damage you take is lower. I think you're overreacting.

this boss is just a mess of taking so much dmg for 0 reason and iv killed raksha allot, the giant you have to fight hitting so hard for 0 reason, 2 attackstyles you really cant flick to mitgigate and pools seemingly 1 shotting you when you are trying to escape its other mechanics

I went in blind and killed him first try, given it was only normal mode but still I am usually bad at bosses and this Vorkath is just really easy to be honest. The hardest part is killing the giants simply because they hit hard.

Necromancy fixed that. Upgrade your gear to T-90, train prayer and herblore, now you can fight every boss in the game. The best gear in the game drops from the dps dummy known as Rasial, so you can farm him and then have the gear to make money at the other bosses. There’s no reason to complain about overpriced gear anymore now that you can get it yourself, at a lower skill level, in a couple of weekends.

To be fair the guide didn't really mention much about Necro abilities etc, just the main mechanics of the fight. If you already have experience with the other combat styles you don't really need to be told which dps rotations to use, you'll figure out how to weave them in with the mechanics that the video has explained
