I visited some Florida Scrub habitat that I’ve photographed many times in the past on this particular morning. My goal was Florida Scrub Jays since I know there is a small population of them at this location that are usually cooperative and they were exactly that! I was also lucky enough to come across an Osprey and a Merlin both perched on snags out in the open and I had a good time trying to get creative with them. I hope you all enjoy this one and I think there is a lot to learn about composition, using foreground, and as always thinking fast on your feet.
