Like introducing cane toads to Australia to control a grub that lived underground 😂. Cane toads are a huge problem there now.

Why doesn’t the government do something about it? I can only do so much as an individual

No one needs to do anything about it except stop fighting it and behaving as if this process, which is one of the main drivers of the process of evolution, is bad. Challenging? Sure. Horrible and something that must be stopped? Not in the least.

they change the eco system not destroy it. every plant and animal started as an invasive and they have came and gone ever since. ya can't just stop time and everything just remain stagnant for eternity.

Even though this is a rather poorly articulated statement I do agree with you, naturalist and nativist have this illogical view of getting the world back to some ideal way it was 5,000 years ago. The world is subject to constant change, and who’s to say the things we think as native were actually invasive but have been there for so long that they evolved and with them evolved species to take advantage of their growth.

Species disperse. With and without our help. They have for a long, long time and if we want to survive as long as possible, ourselves, we will make sure they continue to do move around the planet to find suitable habitats as the climate changes rapidly and we will certainly stop fighting it.
