Please is the "wo ara" the same "woara" in the song?
@TosbeLeo4 жыл бұрын
I saw the english translation of the lyrics somewhere and "woara" was translated as "you alone". So probably the same thing as "wo ara". I have notified that Twi movie and song titles are mostly written how they sound to the ear rather than the grammatically correct way which is rather unfortunate because I think it tarnishes the beauty of the language. This practise would be completely unacceptable in English and most other languages but the Ghana entertainment industry doesn't seem to care to correct this. Sad.

McKenzie, if it's Okyeame Kwame's song, then yes. "Wo ara na wokaeɛ (you yourself said it)". He was saying it was YOU (his/her partner) YOURSELF who said you'd stick with him through thick and thin, only to leave him/her at the sign of little difficulty.
