(3) In terms of function 👉🏻 *Main clause* ::➝ Main clause is the clause that is not dependent to anyone. It is independent. It can make complete sense. 👉🏻 *Sub clause* ::➝ Sub clause is called a dependent Clause because it can not make complete sense in the absence of main clause. Key points of today's lecture :- Kinds of Clauses - (A) based on Clause elements 1st - clause / sentence ke 4 element hote hai = S, V , O/C, A 2nd - वह वाक्य जिसमे अलग अलग प्रकार के भाग होते है और वे जब एक साथ होते है उन्हे Clause कहते है। (B) based on ....- (a) Non finite Clause: - वे Clause जिनमे "non finite verb phrase" होते है (b) Verbless Clause: - वे Clause जिनमे subject और verb नही होते है । (C) based on function of Clauses (a) Main Clause :- वे clause जिसका अपना एक subject और predicate होता है । ▪️ये Clause coordinating conjunction से जुड़े होते है । co - ordinating conjunction नही होने पर इनको semicolon (;) से जोड़ा जाता है। (b) Subordinate clause: - ये main Clause par depend रहते है। ▪️ इनको जोड़ने के लिए Relative pronoun या Subordinating conjunction या connective adverb का प्रयोग करते है । Three kinds of Subordinate clause 1st - noun clause 2nd - adverb clause 3rd - adjective Clause Thank you sir 😊😊
