Thanks for the practical example. Since 9.5% (93 purchases out of 978 advertisements) is clearly different from the hypothesized 7.2%, as a beginner in hypothesis test, may I know how the P-value will affect business decision? Thanks!

93/978 shows 9.5% which is higher that the Hypothesis set..My question here, we can find the same by simple Maths itself..What is the significance in using Proportion test..Pl explain my basic query..

Hi John! Have you gone through the entire video? If not, please go through it. The intent of the proportion test is not just to calculate the proportion for the data, but also to check whether it is significantly different from some reference proportion of proportion in another sample.
