Nice to see male doing this...I am a male in Canada and I was taking Kathak lessons once a week for about six months before the covid and it was so awesome...I really miss it..I don't know when it will start up again .... but I also want to learn Bharatnatyam because it is amazing .ancient... ..I feel it calling to me... and I will learn as much as I can online..The bent knees look so amazing..... I recently acquired some ghungroo and it is so exciting with the bells while tapping feet..... I learned to play a big bansuri that a friend brought to me from Kolkata and that is wonderful and took a few years ... but now the time has come to dance!

Hello mam I'm indrnil your new student + subscriber.....I have started this classical dance,bharatnattym few weeks back. I have learned some adavus,like tatta adavu,natta adavu,metta adavu,tatta kudichi metta adavu and GINATUM 1st.....but I have a problem.....I can't do tatta kudichi metta adavu in 3rd speed...I made mistakes in 3rd speed....so mam can you suggest me any trick....please mam help me please 😯😯😯😯

Kalakshetra style was introduced by Rukmini Devi arundale inorder to give a new way and style for the basic adavus and Abhinaya were as once bharathanatyam was considered as a devadasi form of dance.Tamjore style of Bharatanatyam is other wise called vazhuvur style of BHARATANATYAM were as it was introduced by Tanjore quardent brothers (chinnaya brother's) and was expressed and acted by lalita ragini padmini.there is no longer difference between this both styles thou vazhuvur style is considered as Bharatanatyam and when later new dancers got indroduced they started to give a small change in their own style with respect to taala and jathi.as well as the Bharatanatyam is originated from South india..(Tamil nadu) nowadays we are practicing kalakshetra style as the basic form
