Just a correction but the uBitx is not an SDR, it’s a superheterodyne. If you look at the block diagram, you will see that the arduino is merely driving the display and controlling the switches and oscillator. For it to be SDR it would also have to handle the DSP, which is incredibly difficult to do with a ATMEGA328 (the trusdx is the only radio I am aware of to pull it off and just barely at that)

Built one of these and used the JackAl enhancement kit. It’s amazing what it can do.

Mine after alignment puts out 8 watts on 40 now on 10 it does 5 watts. It hears pretty good

I'm having difficulty slinging mine. No matter what I do, it seems to be 30hz off. So I have sent it off to a friend who aligns radios as a side gig. Hopefully he will have better luck than I did.

How did you get the case so scuffed up? If you want to go to their next level try the Sbitx. But it is roughly 2x the price.
