I had a Canadian teacher several years ago. We could read "Je me souviens" ("I remenber") on the license plate of his car.
@LearnEnglishwithBobtheCanadian5 жыл бұрын
Yes, in the province of Québec they have that on their licence plate. It is neat that you remember that. Do you live in Québec?
@chris-hexagonalfroggy47275 жыл бұрын
No, i live in France. I remenber this perfectly because this kind of personalized license plate is not authorized in my country.
@LearnEnglishwithBobtheCanadian5 жыл бұрын
Here you can personalize, but I think all the licence plates in Québec say that. I have to check. I should know as I lived there a long time ago but I can't remember!
@chris-hexagonalfroggy47275 жыл бұрын
I've noticed you use "license" and "licence" interchangeably. :)

Dear Teacher Bob!My name in English is Nathan.I saw your video and i have 2 queries..First 1 is the part of the interior who someone has all the papers of his vehicle.For example where do you put your insurance,your glasses case, your vehicle certificate or data certificate?(i'm not sure now which one is right).it's in the passengers side usually...in front of the passenger.The second one is the Trunk.Can we called the back side of the vehicle...Trunk?''Put the Groceries in the trunk".Put those boxes back to the trunk.....
@superduperenglishidioms4 жыл бұрын
The thing where you put your glasses, insurance papers, etc. is called a "glove box"... probably because driving gloves were stored there in the past! The back is called a trunk, normally, even when the back is not technically a trunk (and instead is a hatchback, like Bob's minivan or an SUV). Hope that helps!

Hi Bob, you could tell us about the replacement tire and the thing it is used to change a flat tire, the name is Jack, I am not sure. Thank you!!!
@superduperenglishidioms4 жыл бұрын
The extra tire is called a "spare tire" and you're right, the thing to lift the car is called a "jack". The thing to remove the "lug nuts" from the wheel (in order to take it off) is called a "lug wrench". Hope that helps!
@hussainalhamadani82655 жыл бұрын
It is really helpful video Bob, I have a question about vehicles what the difference between car and van ? Thank you so much
@superduperenglishidioms4 жыл бұрын
Bob is showing us a "mini van/minivan" in his video, which can be either used to transport people or goods. Vans are normally used to transport goods, and in some cases act like mini buses. The shape of his vehicle is the "van" shape... but then again, a lot of SUV's (sport utility vehicle) are this same shape, whereas a car would be a smaller vehicle strictly for transporting people. A car can be a sports car, sedan, wagon, etc.
