@@aliciatoon6188 doesn't matter, 2 hours with instructor, 8 hours with family, he has good control of the car in just 10 hours, this also a car he's never driven before, most people don't have this much control and good positioning of the car after 20 hours

I passed two weeks ago, it wasn't actually that bad once I got going. Luckily had no amber light issues (when you gotta choose to stop or not), and no pedestrians waiting to cross (the rules are still a little awkward). The buzz is starting to wear off now, I need to take the test again really.

I passed my driving test today with a few minor faults. DGN driving KZbin channel, alongside Pin's Ultimate Driving Course, helped me a lot to calibrate my driving skills in line with DVSA standards and eventually passed my driving test. Thanks a million to Pin. I was not lucky enough to have a mock test with Pin before my actual driving test. But I will keep trying to have one in the future.

With more instructor lessons I think he will learn quickly as seems to have the confidence and has family to practice with too. My first few lessons I didn’t move off side roads so I think he did well. Personally I think phones need to be in the side pocket when driving, even if on silent as could slide off and get under the pedals/distract a driver.

The fact he left his phone on his lap the whole test is a BAD sign...put it away completely so it's not easily accessible while you're driving unless you're using mapped routes. It wouldn't surprise me if he looks at his phone with family while he's stopped at lights. He has confidence but it's misplaced to be honest, get more paid lessons immediately. I'm starting to do mock tests this week with my instructor as my test is booked for the end of January ☺ just going to remind myself to keep relaxed and positive like I did with my theory test so I can pass first time again!

Unless the family member has recently passed themselves and is up to date on all the mirror checks and observations. Although you gotta be driving for 3 years to supervise, so they may have formed bad habits by then.

Most experienced drivers make mistakes too ive seen it so often- hence thats why their called mistakes because no one is perfect. Just because he has 10 mistakes after 2 lessons doesnt mean he is a bad driver, thats why I said 'tbf'.

Him being first time on roundaouts is similar to me on my very first driving lesson when I was meeting traffic. I just reacted the way I should like common sense. I watched no videos before and no one told me how to do it. She said we haven't got to that part yet and you did it already. 😅😅

The test is actually easy if you are patient and don’t do things on tension or fear of falling. I failed twice even after driving for 8yrs outside England and 6months plus in England but mostly cuz I don’t understand the laws. The laws apart from knowing how to drive is a big deal too.

i saw this morning on the uk government website (the only way and correct way to book a driving test everyone) i saw if i book one on Monday 11th December 2023 at exactly 6 am.. (such a early start) if i take a May 24th test slot for example on a Friday i have to wait twenty two weeks for this i am considering the time of around 1 pm for this 😊

If you turn up for a test without sunglasses they should be able to fail you for not having the right equipment for driving. Without them you will at one point be driving blind with the sun in the eyes

@@raer5373the problem is it can slip under the pedals when you break, same for other items in the car. Then it's very dangerous, might not be able to use the pedal or not able to stop to fix it.. Always put small items in the doors or in the thing between the 2 seats. Bigger items in the trunk. I had this problem with a few groceries I have put on the back seat, I'm not judging just trying to help understand.

6:00 idk bout u but UK roads are so badly designed. Intersections are not clear and are always different to each other, nothing is standard and they work in different ways. Information is always put on small signs and in places where you would not see them because you're focusing on driving. Like who puts a small speed limit sign at the beginning of a road? Put it a little further ahead so by the time you've checked all your blind spots and whatever as you merge into a road, you can see the sign with 0 stress. Also why use small speed limit signs? Make 'em big ffs so we can see them clearly. I think the government just trying to milk us for money with stupid roads like this.
