I prioritised my studies at uni before getting my test and a lot of my friends did too so there's a lot of us out there! go at your own pace and to the beat of your own drum and we'll get our license when the time is right for us, not when others THINK we should have it 😊❤

One thing I'd say from watching so many of these videos is that Pin should make it a standard part of his mock tests to always do the 'show me/tell me' questions - even if the driver says they haven't done much on them by that point. I know he always gives them the choice at the start but I get the suspicion a lot of people say no to try and give themselves a slightly easier time during the drive. The driver here probably learned more from getting his question wrong at the start than he ever would have from just skipping it and playing it safe.

the roundabout at 14:20 is confusing tbh. ive always been told by my driving instructor in london that if the lane before the roundabout is one lane, then the whole round about is yours. but after checking google maps on this specific roundabout at Willenhall, all the other entrances to the round about have two or more lanes, but the one you guys went through had only one lane. quite confusing, but i guess thats Birmingham driving for you i guess. not that i care much anyways, ive already passed ages ago but i like ur videos, keep up the good videos

In real life people park in bays like that all the time - they drive through to the next one so they can drive out instead of reverse. I know that’s not allowed in tests, but I don’t understand why the woman in the other car would be annoyed since it is done by so many people that it seems to just be accepted.

He's got an anxiety. my experience says you need to feel light in handling steering. He is clutching steering tight and hard; also breathing hard. It means take more lessons and take deep breathing relax. Look at his face. ha....ha but i wish all the best. we all go through it.

You won’t get marked down for slowing down to take a turn and how fast you do it depends on the roadsize etc

going into a side road is different to joining traffic, when going into a side road especially if its hidden you dont know if there's parked vehicles on either side or if the roads too narrow or if theres another car so youd have to be at a slow speed in order to react quickly to any obstructions. as far as speeding up to join a road, think of it as this is their territory and you have to now match their speed in order to keep the flow going otherwise you could cause someone to crash into the back of you if you aint quick enough. joining the main road is easy just do it safely and calmly and youll get the hang of it eventually😊😊

It’s different because you’re supposed to have your signal on before a turn. This shows the traffic behind you that you’re about to slow down and turn, so they will react in plenty other time. If you make traffic slow down without any warning that is dangerous.

if you didn't have your signal on, yes it would be a serious fault. since you have your signal on when turning, vehicles are expecting you to slow down, so it's not a fault.

And the bay park that cracked me up 😂 I did that once and my instructor told me a massive fail 😂 so I was very aware when the examiner asked me for a forward bay park to only go into one bay . with the number of serious faults, and stalling the engine too much, number of jerks when changing gears makes me think he has only been out 5 times in the previous month or in total. because they were all things that should have been picked on by his instructor as needing serious attention before doing the hazard perception test, and then doing the hazard perception test when the instructor thought he was ready for a practical driving test. ok so some people were born to drive, and pick things up as they go along in life, and practice the heck out of them, and others are later learning. but only stalled a car twice during my lessons, it was the brakes and releasing the brakes when slowing was my fortee to battle with for driving lessons, as you don't get the g-forces on arcade games of the early 90's.
